When they say that too much sugar can kill you, they normally don’t mean two dispensers full around the head...

Pepper & Kevin decided to pretend that they were back together to convince Mary to let them out, however, as the mad mother brought them a candlelit dinner, Pepper decided to uses the candles to start a fire and as the blaze spread, told Mary that she might be pregnant with Kevin’s baby. As Mary finally opened the door, Kevin managed to get out but collapsed in the hall due the smoke with the door closing behind him, leaving Pepper trapped with Mary. After Pepper finally managed to get the key from Mary and pull her from the burning room, Mary was taken away by the police. Returning to number 30, Pepper found herself having hallucinations about Mary and lied to everyone about where she’d been, saying that she’d just been on a holiday, however, Rosetta didn’t seem convinced.

Paul was stunned to learn that has a brain tumour and needed surgery. Realising that he would need the support of those closest to him more than ever, he reached out to Elle but she just assumed he was after more money and prepared himself to die alone. Meanwhile, as Paul spent the last of his money on breakfast at The General Store, a young boy stole it from the table and tipped it onto the floor. The boy convinced Paul to find the ruthlessness that got him his empire to begin with and suggested that he ought to get his own back on Elle. As Elle & Oliver’s first event as owners of Lassiter’s came around, Paul set off the sprinkler system, flooding the hotel, however his plan went wrong when Carmella saved the day by suggesting that they move to The Scarlet Bar instead, but making a fool out of herself in front of a client, despite having given them up once, Carmella found herself turning to her pills for support.

As Tom presented Rachel, Ringo, Zeke, Bree & Lolly with babies (eggs) to look after in order to teach them about parental responsibility. Whilst Rachel found herself paired with Ringo, Zeke was less than pleased to be paired with Lolly, hiding from her and instead trying to make his relationship with Bree more like that of other teens, much to the ex-Goth’s dismay.

Karl found himself doubting Susan after learning that Lyn was visiting Jack & Nina in LA, meaning that she clearly wasn’t staying with her and that Tom had taken the day off work. Spotting Tom in Lassiter’s Hotel, Karl put two and two together and came up with five, accusing Tom of having an affair with her. As Tom explained that he'd been living in the hotel whilst he finds a place to live, Karl suddenly found himself feeling awful for doubting Susan. Meanwhile, Rachel & Zeke made their own attack on Tom, playing pranks on him at school. However, as Zeke made a speech about “no-one trying to break up a family”, he overstepped the mark and threw his ‘egg baby’ at Tom, leaving him in serious trouble.

Toadie's love of nudity caused a problem at number 32 this week as Steph admitted that she was still having body issues since her surgery, but with a little support from her friend and lover, soon found herself baring all. Luckily both were fully clothed when Boyd returned, but despite taking the news of Toadie having moved in well, Steph worried he was bottling up his real feelings on the subject. As the Timmins family showed their disappointment at his return, Boyd found himself turning to Charlotte for support.

A busy week for Toadie this week as he uncovered evidence that Terrence had been running a similar scam around the country, even using his ‘gift’ to take advantage of one of his clients. However, as the news spread around the residents of Ramsay Street, Sky already had her own suspicions and set out to test Terrence. Making up a lie about a trip to Vietnam with Stingray and a secret, Terrence played along, saying that Stingray had secretly planned to propose, this too strengthened her disbelief as they had already had their own ‘marriage’. As Terrence tried to stop Sky leaving The General Store, she grabbed a sugar dispenser and hit him around the head with it, leaving him out cold on the floor. Running to Harold for comfort, she broke down, admitting everything. Meanwhile, Charlotte spotted a fax meant for Toadie in the machine and realised that their game was up. Hearing Terrence’s ringtone coming from the store, Charlotte was stunned to find him out cold. As he came to and she threatened to leave him alone to face the music, he told her that he never loved her. Spotting the dispenser on the floor, Charlotte picked up another and hit Terrence again. As Lou, Harold and Sky returned to the store, they were stunned to find Terrence still lying on the floor and as Lou checked his pulse were horrified to realise that Terrence was dead.

Notes: Rachel Gordon & Scott Johnson (Charlotte Stone and Terrence Chesterton) are married in real-life, meaning that Rachel had to act out murdering her own husband.
