Gary announces that he is going to start dating again, but is later caught out by Gail and Rebecca... Terese assures Paul that she has no regrets
about eloping to Queensland... Paul is disturbed as he runs into another ex-wife, Christina, and sees this as another sign not to get married... An upset
Terese informs Ned that Paul has called off the wedding... Ned is delayed at the airport on his way to see Terese... Amy's suspicions are aroused by the
sudden return of Paul's ex-wives, and David and Leo are similarly confused... Paul demands to know who is behind this vendetta against him and is shocked
to find that his daughter Elle is the culprit...
In Queensland, an unhappy Terese is sitting with Christina and Caroline, demanding answers as to why Elle would go to such lengths to drive a wedge between
her and Paul. Instead of receiving an answer from the sisters, Christina and Caroline begin arguing, forcing Terese to intervene and once again demand an
answer to her question, confused as to why Christina would participate in Elle's plan when she barely knows her.
..

Meanwhile, Paul is in the hotel room talking to Elle via Skype; he asks her if she really hates him that much, but Elle contends that this course of action
was not due to hatred, but because she loves him. She admits that when he told her that he was marrying Terese, it didn't fill her with much confidence,
indicating that given his history with Terese it was not exactly a classic love story. Despite Elle's explanation Paul angrily tells her that this doesn't
give her the right to send over his ex-wives to hinder things, but Elle defends herself by saying her intentions were honourable. She states that she never
planned to try and force him to break up with Terese and call off the wedding but was merely providing him with a test of loyalty, similar to the ones he
used in his machinations with Amy and Gary. Paul is then shocked to learn that Leo was involved in this plan, Elle admitting that she asked for his assistance.
She asks Paul if he learned anything from seeing his exes and Paul agrees that seeing the reminders of his past failures has given him a stronger resolve to
never make the same mistakes with Terese.
At the Waterhole, Aaron and David are talking about Elle's role in reuniting all of Paul's past wives, as Leo admits that he only helped Elle because she
paid him. He tells Aaron and David that this payment from Elle allowed him to return their money sooner, but David is unimpressed with the antics and informs
Leo that doing something this low makes him wonder who he really is.
..

Ned is still at the airport as Scarlett, who he saw earlier, returns to the bar where he is sitting. They introduce themselves to each other and Ned can't
resist asking if she was going to a wedding considering her attire. She reveals that she has just returned from a wedding, her partner Rex having jilted her
at the altar after deciding that the wedding was a mistake. To make matters worse Scarlett informs Ned that she has maxed out her credit card for a one-way
flight back to her parents and is therefore stuck at the airport. With Ned being delayed at the airport as well, he decides to buy them some drinks to pass
the time.
After their uncomfortable run-in on Ramsay Street, Gary spots Rebecca in Harold's and asks her for a chance to explain. Rebecca gets straight to the point
and asks Gary about why he was two-timing her with Gail, but Gary explains that he met them at the same time and couldn't decide who he liked better, so
thought he would try and play the field. Unimpressed with this attempt at an explanation, Rebecca implies that Gary's behaviour is sleazy and decides that
he will no longer have to choose between the two of them as they are finished.
..

Back in Queensland, Paul and Terese are walking along the beach as Paul explains Elle's motivations for bringing back his ex-wives, informing Terese that
she was doing it to protect him and stop him from making another mistake. Despite Terese's reticence and indication that she is going back home, Paul thinks
that the wedding can now go ahead as everything is out in the open, as he tries to apologise for his earlier behaviour. He admits that he let his ex-wives'
voices get inside his head and make him doubt everything, but he promises Terese that he will no longer do this and is committed to a future with her. As a
show of his commitment to her, Paul lowers himself on one knee and takes Terese's hand, asking her if she will marry him. Terese takes a moment to compose
herself and then informs Paul that his behaviour has been unacceptable and that if he ever acts like that again he'll regret it, before softening and telling
Paul that she would still like to marry him. Despite Terese's strong words, Paul is elated that she still wishes to marry him, suggesting that they do it right
away. Terese reminds him that everything has been cancelled and she needs to buy another dress, but Paul suddenly remembers he has something to do first and
quickly rushes off, telling Terese that he will call her.
Aaron goes over to see Leo at the Waterhole, confirming that although David is still unhappy with what he did, he will hopefully come round. A downcast Leo
isn't sure that he will, revealing to Aaron that the opportunity to hurt Paul was too tempting to pass up, especially as his jealously over his marriage to
Terese hadn't fully gone away. Although Aaron once again tries to get Leo to see the bright side his efforts are in vain as Leo tells him that he has lost
too much recently, including his business and his family's respect. He wallows in self-pity as he informs Aaron that he couldn't hate himself more if he tried.
..

The reason for Paul's sudden departure is revealed, as he finds himself knee deep in the hotel fountain as he attempts to retrieve the wedding ring that he
threw away earlier. After some frantic searching he is relieved as he eventually finds it, watched by a confused Caroline.
Meanwhile, at the airport, Ned is finishing a call with Terese, who informs him that the wedding is back on. He ends the call and apologises to Scarlett for
being excited with Terese's wedding news, considering her own wedding disaster with Rex. He goes on to tell her that he won't make the wedding and intends to
make new flight arrangements to get back to Erinsborough. Scarlett suggests that they have another round to celebrate, and Ned is pleased to see her change
in demeanour, unaware that she has memorised the code on his phone.
..

In Queensland, wedding preparations are underway as Paul nervously waits for Terese to arrive. She appears in a wedding dress as Paul tells her how stunning
she looks, before confirming that not only does he have the rings, but Caroline has managed to find them a celebrant. Terese isn't overly impressed to see
that the celebrant Caroline has found is an Elvis impersonator, but she quickly sees the funny side as Paul jokes that at least their wedding will be
memorable. In another surprise Caroline has managed to persuade Christina to be a witness, although she confirms that she is only attending under duress.
Paul doesn't look entirely sure that he wants his ex-wife and ex-sister-in-law as his witnesses, but Terese overrules him, stating that she'd rather have
them than two complete strangers.
..

..

..

The ceremony begins as the happy couple start reciting their vows. Terese begins with her words:
"It's been a long journey to be here today, but I am so glad we finally made it. You spark my intellect, my joy, and my desire. And I can't wait to be your
wife."
Paul continues:
"I know I haven't always been perfect. But you accept me for my flaws and my strengths, and I think you're clever, you're certainly beautiful, you're kind
and forgiving, and I can't wait to be your husband and share that road ahead."
As they finish their speeches the Elvis celebrant asks Paul if he will take Terese to be his lawful wife, joking that if he doesn't, he is 'nothin' but a
hound dog!'. Paul accepts that he will marry Terese, as Terese does the same, and the ceremony concludes to much merriment. The celebrant happily informs
them that he is proud to pronounce them as husband and wife, before Paul and Terese share their first kiss as husband and wife.
Back at the airport, Scarlett explains why she is still wearing her wedding dress, telling Ned that she wants to get her money's worth having paid $1200
for it. Ned finds this funny and admires Scarlett's upbeat outlook on her messy wedding situation, although he is becoming increasingly frustrated at being
stuck at the airport awaiting his delayed flight. Whilst he heads to the bar, Ned leaves his phone behind with Scarlett, who notices a text message sent from
the airline with news of a new flight available. Having memorised his phone passcode from earlier, Scarlett goes into Ned's phone and deletes the message.
..

Despite the ceremony being over the celebrant continues with his Elvis related puns by telling Paul and Terese that 'fools rush in, but I've got a feeling
you two won't go your separate ways', before jokingly checking with Paul that he isn't a 'devil in disguise'. Christina interrupts by asking Paul if she can
borrow his room key as she left her hat in there, and Paul agrees, although Caroline looks suspicious and follows her. The Elvis celebrant finishes off
things by saying that the couple will not be 'lonesome tonight' as they continue to laugh.
In Paul's room, Christina is tempted to look at Paul's ledger book but is interrupted by her sister, who comments on what a beautiful wedding it was. As
Caroline continues to talk about the ceremony Christina interrupts her, angrily informing her that she is to blame for the all the things that have gone
wrong in her life, citing her affair with Paul. Caroline is mystified that Christina is holding onto something that happened 30 years ago, but Christina
contends that if the affair had not happened, she and Paul's relationship may not have ended so badly. Understanding that her sister has been holding onto
this for a long time, Caroline asks her if they can move past this, and Christina slowly softens. Caroline tells her that she has missed her, and Christina
agrees.
..

At Harold's, Gail is listening to a video message from Elle, who is admitting that maybe Paul and Terese are 'just meant to be' after hearing that the
wedding took place. She is interrupted by Gary, who hastily informs Gail that he has decided that he would like to continue seeing her exclusively if she
agrees, indicating that he has ended things with Rebecca. Gail admits that this is the best news that she has heard all day. As they chat, Rebecca rushes in,
asking Gail if she has seen the pictures from the wedding. Gail has and tells Rebecca that things have gone a bit pear-shaped with their plans to try and
stop the marriage. Looking flustered with Rebecca's sudden arrival, Gary attempts to leave but Rebecca forces him to stay put. She reveals to Gail that
after learning that Gary was seeing them both, she quickly put a stop to things and has now decided to head back to Sydney. She sarcastically wishes them
good luck and informs Gary that she hopes they never cross paths again. As she leaves Gail looks confused, and Gary is forced to admit that Rebecca was the
one to end their relationship before he had a chance to. He concedes that he is really bad with relationships and Gail agrees, although surprisingly she
offers Gary an olive branch, suggesting that if he is willing to wipe the slate clean, then so is she.
Meanwhile at the airport, Scarlett is asking Ned what Erinsborough has to offer. Ned tells her that although it is similar to most other places, it's his
home and there are some great people there. He becomes frustrated when he sees fellow travellers heading to the departure gate, completely oblivious to
Scarlett's machinations regarding his own flight. She slyly suggests that the airline company must have forgotten about him, but Ned decides to head over
to the enquiries desk to see if someone can help him.
..

In Queensland, Paul and Terese are basking in the glow of becoming husband and wife by sharing a glass of champagne with Caroline and Christina. The sisters
decide that it's probably time to leave the newlyweds alone as Terese wishes them a safe trip home, although they have decided to stay a little bit longer
to catch up. Christina takes the opportunity to apologise to Paul before they go, and he is grateful for this act of contrition from his ex-wife. Feeling
relieved that his exes are no longer going to haunt him, he looks forward to some much-needed serenity. Terese reminds him that Gail is still in Erinsborough,
but Paul refuses to put a dampener on things by informing her that they still have the honeymoon to enjoy. They start kissing as they look forward to their
married life together.
Ned returns from the enquiries desk, frustrated that the airline sent him a text message which he believes he didn't receive. As Scarlett comforts him by
calling the airline 'liars' who are merely trying to cover themselves, Ned informs her that he is booked on a flight for tomorrow. As he goes to head off
Scarlett asks him for a selfie, informing him that she would like something to remember her 'airport buddy' by. He obliges her request and then wishes her
well before heading off, leaving Scarlett looking thoughtful as she glances back at her phone.
..

Over in the back yard at no. 32, David, Aaron Leo, Kyle, Amy and Chloe are having a celebratory meal in honour of Paul and Terese's marriage and make a
toast to them before eating. As the meal gets underway Leo pulls his brother aside to have a chat, with Leo admitting to David that he needs a chance to
explain everything. David doesn't think that this is a right time and asks Leo to give him some space as he wants to have a good night; he walks back to
where the others are sitting and Leo decides to have a drink alone, leaning on the fence surrounding the pool whilst the others enjoy the revelry of the
occasion.
Later in the day, the others have retreated into the house, but Leo is still outside, drinking a beer and deep in thought.
..

He then heads inside and places a letter on the breakfast bar addressed to his brother, with the following words inside:
"David, I'm sorry to leave you this way. It's been incredible to see you excel, find love, and make a home in Erinsborough. But the cesspool of drama has
finally gotten the better of me. I need to spread my wings and find my own identity, separate from our newfound family and friends. I'm not sure where I'm
going or where I'll land, but I know I have to do this to become a person who will make you proud. Love you forever and always, bro. Leo."
He then picks up his suitcase, walks to the front door and exits the house.
