10 Peach: 23/03/20, Channel 5: 23/03/20

Finn looks intent on causing Lucy harm... Finn informs his video diary that Elly said they can't be together because of Bea... He later places a bomb in a wedding box meant for Lucy and Mark... Lucy mentions that she has swapped the box's name tag with Tom and Ian... Prue opens the wedding box and her car explodes... Finn pushes Bea into a pit on the island... After Finn hugs Harry, Harry realises Finn's memory has returned... Finn hits Toadie over the head with a rock before sending him out to sea... Finn places a snake in the pit with Bea, shoots Gary in the back with an arrow and then chases Elly and Aster around the island... Elly finds Gary's dead body, as Finn sets fire to the island...

At no. 28, Susan is checking her phone as Finn rushes into the house, informing her that Elly is still on the island, but the phones are out. Talk soon talks to the whereabouts of Bea; Finn lies to Susan and tells her that she has rented a cabin in the Snowy Mountains but has been unable to let Susan know as her phone has died. He confesses that he is worried about Bea since he broke up with her on the island, indicating that he wants to make things right but needs Susan to come with him to the cabin, as per Bea's supposed request to him. As Susan goes to get her things Finn mentions that he would like her to come alone, without Karl, suggesting that too many people may inflame the situation.

..

..

Susan makes a call to Karl to let him know that Finn has found out where Bea is staying, although she also tells him that Finn is very upset. She informs Karl that she is on her way to the cabin with Finn and will call him once she reaches the location, before ending the call. Finn thanks Susan for her understanding, telling her that she has always looked out for him. He informs Susan that he has Elly's car as Elly and Aster will be getting a ride back with the others. With his duplicitous plan in motion, he and Susan leave the house, not before Finn takes one final look around no. 28.

In the car, Susan mentions to Finn that Lucy switched the wedding boxes as she didn't want to go to Rome, which leaves Finn curious as to who got the box. Susan changes the subject and asks Finn how much of his decision to end things with Bea was due to Elly. Rather than deny this Finn admits that he was hoping something romantic would happen between him and Elly, but he knows now that it can never be.

..

Finn asks Susan if she found it difficult to recapture the relationship she had with Karl after finding out he cheated on her, as well as forgiving him for what he did. Although Susan is adamant that she has forgiven Karl, she concedes that the events of the past can never be wholly forgotten and will always have an effect on her. She tells Finn that after Karl's affair with Sarah a small piece of her heart turned to granite, and even though she came to love him again that piece remains inside her. Realising that she is delving too deeply into her life, Susan wonders if Finn is that interested in what she has to say. Finn however is keen to hear more, telling Susan that he wants to know everything about her and the way she helps people, indicating that she has done more for him than anyone else has.

After a short while, Susan turns around after hearing a baby crying, shocked to find Aster sitting in the backseat of the car. She orders Finn to stop the car and then goes to check on the baby, asking Finn why he has her and not Elly. Finn tries to explain that Elly is still on the island and that she couldn't look after Aster so gave her to him, but Susan doesn't believe that Elly would do something like that. A concerned Susan informs Finn that she needs to speak to Karl, but Finn takes her phone away and tells her that Karl doesn't love her and never has. He then throws Susan's phone away and tells her that it is just the three of them now, leaving Susan looking stunned.

..

Having tried to digest this terrible situation whilst still in the car, Susan becomes aware that Bea isn't at the cabin as Finn has indicated. Finn admits that Bea is on the island as well and Susan becomes concerned with her niece's welfare, but Finn insists that they are fine as they are together. To try and get Finn to see reason, Susan reminds him that Elly and Bea will be worried about Aster and that maybe they should contact them to let them know she is safe. Despite this plea for reasoning Finn reiterates that Bea, Elly and Karl don't care about them. He then tells Susan that she doesn't need to be afraid of him as he would never hurt her or Aster, becoming angry as Susan continues to insist that they contact Elly and the others. Becoming calmer after his sudden burst of anger, Finn changes tack and informs Susan that his memory started returning a few weeks ago. This concerns Susan further and she pleads with Finn to stop at the next town as he is not well, but Finn succinctly tells her that there will not be a next town as they are almost at their destination. He warns Susan that there might be someone waiting for them when they arrive, but he will deal with them.

With Finn and Susan having arrived at the cabin, Finn walks in and calls out Harry's name, wondering if he is there. Although there is no other car outside Finn notices a bottle of wine and glasses laid out, indicating that Harry has been there and could return at any moment. Susan is curious as to how long Harry has been on parole, but Finn tells her that it has not been long; he mentions that Harry followed him to the island. Seeing a way to get help, Susan suggests that they call the police and let them know that Harry has been bothering Finn, but Finn doesn't think this is a good idea as they could trace the call back to the cabin. Instead, Finn suggests that they settle down in the cabin for the night before their new life begins.

..

Finn goes to make a bed up for Aster, asking Susan to get a blanket from the bedroom. Despite his request Susan looks uncomfortable at leaving Aster alone and quickly grabs a blanket so she can keep an eye on the baby. As she does so Finn starts reminiscing about what Shaun was like as a baby, telling Susan that his mum told him that he wasn't allowed to see his brother. He was so excited about seeing Shaun he ignored his mum's request and caught a train over, but the next thing he knew his mum was screaming at him to get away from the cot, worried he was going to hurt him. Finn insists that he would never have hurt his brother, and Susan tries to apologise for what happened to him. Feeling upbeat despite the memories, Finn tells Susan that family is what you make of it and she and Aster are his family now. As Finn goes to make something to eat, Susan starts to look increasingly anxious.

A little later, Finn has made some toast and offers Susan some, but she isn't hungry and is still trying to understand why Finn doesn't feel as if Elly, Bea and Karl can be part of their future. Finn indicates that one day they will see this as a blessing in disguise and then intimates that he almost feels sorry for Bea for looking so much like Elly. He admits that when he tracked Bea down in Sydney and found her busking, he did a double take as he could have sworn it was Elly. He doesn't understand why he continues to go to Elly even though she hurt both him and Bea, considering whether she ever loved him. Susan suggests that contacting Elly and Bea may be the best course of action in the fraught circumstances, particularly considering Elly is Aster's mother, but Finn becomes angry at the suggestion and smashes a plate on the ground. He then goes to settle Aster who has started crying, whist warning Susan not to speak of them again. As Susan offers to clean up the smashed plate Finn decides to have a rest after the long drive, heading into the bedroom. He then alarms Susan by asking her to join him.

..

Realising that acceding to his request is the best course of action, Susan lies next to Finn on the bed as he asks her how much she hated Karl after the affairs with Sarah and Izzy. Although Susan tries to downplay the incidents, she admits that finding out that Izzy was pregnant was the moment she hated Karl the most. Finn asks Susan to think of that moment and the point at which a part of her heart turned to stone, as they discussed in the car earlier. He also asks her to consider all the pain and the anger and how she can be free of all that with him and Aster. He asks her if she wants to be free and Susan, playing along to keep Finn on side, agrees that she does.

Feeling that he and Susan share similar traits, Finn mentions that his heart is just like hers and that when someone hurt him, like his parents, a part of him also turned to stone. Although the feeling dissipated due to his amnesia, he admits that when his memory returned there was a heaviness in his heart and chest which he now carries with him wherever he goes. He is certain that he only feels truly right when he hurts the people who hurt him and fights back. This realisation causes Finn to cry, and, informing Susan that he is tired, asks her if she will hold him as he tries to sleep. This alarms Susan, who looks quietly terrified at the prospect, but continues to keep her thoughts to herself as Finn tells her that he always wanted his mum to hold him like this, and that Susan is more of a mother to him than she ever was. Susan tells him to sleep, assuring him that he is safe now.

..

With Finn having fallen asleep Susan attempts to quietly sneak out of bed, but Finn soon wakes up and finds Susan out of bed.

Susan quickly makes up the excuse that she heard a noise and was worried Harry had returned, and as Finn goes to check on things she contemplates whether to hit him with a stone sculpture she found. The moment passes however as Finn heads back inside, unaware of what Susan was doing. He heads over to Aster and picks her up, asking Susan if the baby looks like Elly. Susan says that she doesnŐt, certain that Aster takes her looks from Shaun. She goes to get a warm bottle for Aster but is concerned as to how long the milk has been out of the fridge, thinking that it may have gone off. Sensing an opportunity, Susan suggests to Finn that he allow her to go to a shop to get some formula for Aster whilst he sleeps, but Finn is adamant that they will do everything together. He goes to freshen up but then startles Susan by suddenly appearing again, telling her how nice it is for the three of them to be together at last.

..

Finn finally heads to the bathroom to wash his face, allowing Susan to grab a phone from the bed and attempt to call the authorities. She is thwarted as Finn comes out of the bathroom looking for towels and catches her making a call. Angered that Susan is calling the police, just as he was planning their future, he becomes adamant that she is just like the rest of his betrayers, and he can't trust her like he thought he could. As Susan tries to placate a furious Finn, he tells her that she will never be a mother to him before forcing her into a chair. Despite Susan suggesting that Finn could make his escape and leave her and Aster in the cabin, he instead grabs some rope and ties Susan to the chair.

Aware that she has nothing to lose now in the face of Finn's rage, Susan asks him what he did to Elly and Bea. Finn confirms that they got what they deserved and will probably be dead by now, also declaring that he killed Gary Canning in the process. Realising that she is in the clutches of a monster, Susan starts crying in terror as Finn becomes certain that she would always let him down, reminding her that she did push him off a cliff.

..

With Susan tied up, Finn walks outside the cabin and picks up a shovel, telling Susan that there is no use screaming as they are completely alone. He begins to dig a hole in the ground and then turns on a valve on a water pipe.

Despite their isolated location Susan continues to scream for help whilst Aster cries beside her; she tells her that she is so sorry for what is happening.

..

Meanwhile, Finn continues with his plans as he soaks the ground with water to aid him in digging the hole, grinning to himself as he continues his work.
