Meanwhile, at no. 24, Chloe is looking worriedly at her positive pregnancy test when Pierce heads over to her in the kitchen. She quickly hides the
pregnancy test in her dressing gown as Pierce wrongly assumes that she is worried about her Huntington's tests. Pierce tries to assure her that the
doctors will more than likely say that the disease hasn't progressed, suggesting that they go to bed and watch some television together. Despite trying
to be positive, Chloe looks concerned as Pierce leaves the room.
The next morning, the hearing is over as Elly and Toadie return to no. 28, with Elly informing Shaun that the court sentence imposed means that she won't
be going to jail due to time already served. Although the news is positive Elly is upset that she will never be able to teach again, however Toadie admits
that this was to be expected. Despite her career in teaching being over Elly is still allowed to travel overseas and Toadie offers to organise a Swiss visa
for her, having been made aware of her plans with Shaun. Elly is undecided about the move to Switzerland as Toadie jokes that this will ruin his dreams of
Hugo and Aster becoming the next power couple. As Shaun heads into the garden with Aster, Toadie tells Elly that he is a 'top bloke'. She admits that it is
early days with Shaun, before thanking Toadie for all his help with the court case and the fact that he never gave up on her.
..

As Toadie heads off, Elly joins Shaun and Aster in the garden, with Shaun feeling pleased that Elly is considering the move to Switzerland. He informs
Elly that when he visited his mum yesterday, she asked him if he was ready to take over the family business again, but he hasn't given her an answer.
Feeling that this could be a fresh start for them both, Shaun admits that having their own business could be the push they both need to get their lives
back on track. Elly is worried that Claudia could be involved in the business, but Shaun assures her that she has been removed from the company, adding
that even once she's released from prison the board will never take her back. With reference to his own position within the company, Shaun informs Elly
that the board need a decision today as to whether he will take the CEO role. He senses that this is an opportunity for Elly to take a leap into the unknown
with him and Aster, but Elly tells him that she will need to speak to her family first before making any decision about leaving Erinsborough.
At the Waterhole, Paul, Terese and Pierce are finishing a meeting, as Pierce explains that he and Chloe won't be able to attend a meeting with the
accountants later as they have a personal appointment to attend to. This leads Terese to head over to the bar to ask Chloe if everything is okay,
mentioning the appointment that Pierce alluded to. Chloe doesn't go into detail, but admits that it is something that she can't put off. As Terese
leaves, Elly arrives with Aster, asking Chloe if she can offer her some advice regarding her potential move to Switzerland with Shaun. Chloe is taken
aback by the news and starts enthusing about all the good things that Switzerland has to offer, but Elly is more concerned about leaving her friends and
family behind, including her.

Over in Perth, Karl heads into a restaurant, keen to take some pictures of himself in front of the skyline using his selfie stick. As he's taking a
picture, he notices a familiar face wiping tears from her eyes. It's Jane Harris. They are both surprised to see each other, with Karl mentioning that
he thought Jane was in London. He explains that he and Susan have just arrived from Tasmania and then asks Jane how things are with Des. A tearful Jane
confesses that she and Des have broken up, admitting that despite being in love the relationship wasn't working. She apologises to Karl for interrupting
his holiday by 'falling apart' on him, but Karl wishes that there was something he could do to help. Jane surmises that nothing can be done and that there
were inherent challenges in trying to reunite after such a long time, indicating that it may be difficult for Karl to relate to due to his long relationship
with Susan. She is surprised to hear from Karl that this trip is an attempt to smooth over a rough patch he and Susan are going through, feeling slightly
heartened. Karl wonders if things cannot be rectified with Des as in his opinion things don't appear insurmountable, but Jane admits that it is too
complicated, and laments that it just wasn't meant to be.
Meanwhile at Lassiters, Chloe looks unhappy as Terese arrives at the office; she tells Terese that she has heard about Elly moving to Switzerland with
Shaun, feeling that this is the break that she needs even though she will miss her like crazy. Terese senses that Chloe is also worried about her medical
appointment and Chloe admits that she has been having symptoms which suggest the onset of Huntington's disease, hence her need for tests from a neurologist.
She then shocks Terese by informing her that she is also pregnant.
..

A distracted Pierce is sitting at the bar at the Waterhole as he declines a call from Paul, just as Toadie arrives, telling Pierce that he has been trying
to get hold of Chloe regarding the plans for the island. Pierce is quite short with Toadie as he informs him that Chloe has a lot on her mind and will get
back to him when she can. Realising that something isn't quite right, Toadie offers a friendly ear as Pierce reveals that there is a chance that Chloe's
Huntington's could be progressing, going on to explain the tests she is having. Toadie admits that waiting on test results can be difficult, but Pierce is
worried that he will be unable to become the strong person that Chloe wants him to be. Recalling his own difficult situation with Sonya, Toadie consoles
Pierce by telling him that nothing can prepare you for these kinds of things, but it is sometimes surprising how much people can handle when required.
Back at no. 28, Shaun is in the garden showing Bea a video of Aster on his phone, as Bea teases him about how long it has taken for him and Elly to get
together. Shaun is curious as to whether Bea is happy with the relationship and she admits that after everything Elly has been through, she deserves some
happiness, before joking that she will injure him if he hurts her. This happy moment is soon spoilt as Bea sees a message on Shaun's phone from Toadie,
providing details about Elly and her visa. Confused by this, Bea asks Shaun what exactly is going on, and he confesses that he and Elly are thinking of
moving to Switzerland permanently. Angered that she was kept in the dark, Bea asks Shaun when she was going to be informed, but he quickly counters that
nothing has been decided yet until Elly talks to her first.
..

Terese and Chloe continue to talk in the office as Terese assures Chloe that she should try not to fear the worst, as the symptoms she has described
including her forgetfulness could merely be a result of her pregnancy rather than a progression of the Huntington's disease. She suggests that the scan
should give Chloe more clarity although is curious as to whether such a scan is safe when pregnant. Having spoken to her specialist Chloe is sure that
the scan is safe, however she mentions that she will check again with the technician. She admits that she hasn't spoken to Pierce about the pregnancy yet
and, although feeling guilty about this, feels that it would be better to wait until she has had the HD test first, so they both know exactly what they
are dealing with. As Chloe rushes out of the door for her appointment Paul arrives, interested to know what Terese was discussing with her, wondering if
it has anything to do with the hotel. Without divulging too many details Terese merely says that she is supporting Chloe with something and that he shouldn't
fret, before making her own exit. Paul looks intrigued as she leaves the room.
Over in Perth, Karl is still chatting to Jane in the restaurant, informing her that Susan is currently in the hotel room. Jane remarks that he and Susan seem
to know each other well, and Karl agrees that this is the case in both the good and the bad sense. He asks Jane if there is anyone looking out for her, but
Jane doesn't think that anyone would be supportive of what she considers a long list of mistakes, even her old friend Paul. Worried that Paul would blame
himself for encouraging Des to return to Erinsborough, Jane implores Karl not to say anything to him. Karl agrees but asks Jane what she is going to do in
the meantime and whether she has a plan. Despite her attempts to put on a brave face and assure Karl that she has survived worse, her face tells a different
story.
..

After the revelation from Shaun earlier, an unhappy Bea heads over to Elly in the garden at no. 28, asking her why she hasn't informed her about a possible
move to Switzerland. An apologetic Elly insists that she was always going to tell her, but Bea is still upset and can't get her head around the sudden
decision to leave Erinsborough. Elly contends that she hasn't made a final decision yet although admits that the prospect of leaving for a fresh start is
appealing and makes sense. This seems to rile up Bea further as she argues that more upheaval is the last thing her sister needs and that she needs to give
herself a break, but Elly indicates that with her teaching career over there are few prospects left for her. Despite the temptation for Elly to put her
troubles behind her, Bea, in a final plea, suggests that they are strong enough to get through this situation together.
At the hospital, Chloe arrives with Pierce for her appointment; Pierce offers to come in with her to see the neurologist, but a nervous Chloe insists that
she would rather do it alone. Understanding of her need for privacy, Pierce agrees and tells Chloe that he will head over to the waiting area until she is
finished. Chloe offers a smile but looks worried as Pierce heads off.
..

Bea and Elly are still discussing the potential Switzerland move at no. 28, as Elly tells Bea that the relocation is not just about her, she also has Shaun
and Aster to consider. She thinks that taking over the family business would be a great opportunity for Shaun, also feeling that things are finally slotting
into place regarding their relationship. Although understanding of Bea's concerns about leaving her, Susan and Karl behind, Elly is sure that after
everything that has happened this is the chance for a fresh start and a new adventure. She asks Bea if she can understand the situation and, despite
feeling sad about her sister's departure, Bea admits that if this is what she really wants she won't stand in her way.
With her appointment having ended at the hospital, Chloe returns to Pierce, informing him that her MRI scan shows no signs of tissue deterioration,
meaning that her Huntington's disease hasn't advanced. A pleased Pierce asks Chloe what could be causing the symptoms, but, looking apprehensive, she
deflects this question by suggesting that she could just be overworked. She tells Pierce that her worries are just shock at the good news, but, as she
and Pierce leave the hospital, she looks frustrated that she hasn't been able to reveal the truth about her pregnancy to him.
..

Back at no. 28, Elly is finishing a phone call to Susan in Perth, reporting back to Shaun that Susan didn't say much about her move to Switzerland,
wondering whether she is in shock about the sudden decision. Shaun is curious as to what Elly thinks and she admits that despite the fast pace of things
she is ready to move to Switzerland, further surprising Shaun by telling him that she would like to move right away rather than she and Aster joining him
later. An astonished and happy Shaun heads inside to check on flights as Bea emerges, still looking unhappy about EllyŐs decision to leave. She is informed
by her sister that Karl and Susan will be popping back to Erinsborough to say goodbye in person before continuing their travels, rather than cut their trip
short. Bea admits that she is going to miss Elly but understands her reasons for needing to leave, before indicating that with time so short, it is best if
they try to make every moment count until her departure.
..

Over at Lassiters, Chloe is in the office with Terese and regales her with the good news regarding her Huntington's not advancing. She admits that she hasn't
told Pierce about the pregnancy despite being aware that he needs to know, but Terese touchingly tells her that she will find the right moment to tell him.
Terese shows Chloe some research she has been doing on her laptop about what Huntington's could mean for the pregnancy, however Chloe admits that she is
aware of all the risks but still doesn't know what to do for the best. As they chat Paul comes into the office and Terese quickly closes the laptop; Paul
informs them that Pierce is ready for them to have another meeting and Chloe and Terese head off to meet him, with Paul telling them he will join them
shortly after he finishes a phone call. With no one else in the office a curious Paul opens the laptop, surprised to see the website that Terese has been
looking at concerns Huntington's disease and pregnancy.
