Written by Stephanie Carter, Directed by Scott Major, Produced by Kate Kendall and Andrew Thompson

10 Peach: 08/01/21, Channel 5: 05/02/21

Sheila is lying in a hospital bed... Clive wants to put a pause on his relationship with Jane until Sheila recovers... Sheila asks Des Clarke to occupy Jane so she can spend time with Clive... Kyle announces he is entering Erinsborough's Best Dish competition, as are the Waterhole and the Terrace... Paul tells Terese he wants to win despite Kyle entering one of Gary's dishes... Outside the tram, Roxy notices wild mushrooms and adds them to Kyle's dish...

In The 82 tram, Kyle and Roxy are busy cooking before the judge named Jacinta arrives - in approximately one hour. Kyle's phone rings, it's Jacinta explaining she's running behind schedule so has to move the judging until the next day. Remaining positive, Roxy suggests leaving the gravy overnight to enhance the flavours.

..

Sheila is now home at number 26 and checking on Gary the pigeon, with Levi. As they go to sit down, Des arrives after being invited over by Sheila, who is looking for an update on Jane. Explaining that Clive has a day off tomorrow, Sheila asks Des to once again keep Jane occupied. Although reluctant, he agrees.

Outside Harold's cafe, Jane and Clive cross paths. Jane suggests meeting for lunch the next day but Clive isn't keen due to his commitments to Sheila. As he leaves, Des arrives and asks Jane what her plans are.

..

The next morning at number 26, Sheila, Levi and Kyle are in the garden with Clive and Roxy joining them. With encouragement from Sheila, Kyle leaves with Roxy and Levi goes to clean up inside, leaving Sheila alone with Clive.

Outside Harold's, Des asks Jane if she has concerns about how much time Clive and Sheila are spending together, but she doesn't as they are just friends. Meanwhile, Paul and Terese exit Erinsborough Real Estate and begin to head in different directions when they hear a distinctive laugh, one Paul appears to recognise but convinces himself he's just 'hearing things'.

..

Back at The 82, Kyle and Roxy are finishing preparations for the competition. Paul arrives to check up on his competitors, finding joy in his attempts to rile Kyle up.

The distinctive laugh from earlier is shown to have come from Melanie Pearson, who is catching up with Des and Jane. Melanie is now living in Anson's Corner after living overseas in London until recently. Assuming Jane and Des are a couple, Melanie is pleased to see them together. As the trio reminisce, Melanie is shocked to learn Jane and Clive are a couple and thinks it will only end in tears if an ex is involved.

..

..

Also reminiscing are Sheila and Clive, specifically about their first date. Levi rushes into the garden announcing he is needed at the tram as Paul is still bothering Kyle. All three agree to go together.

Doubting his recipe choice, Kyle wonders if he should have made another dish for the competition. Roxy reminds Kyle of the reason behind his choice - his dad. This boosts his confidence and he decides to stand up for himself against Paul who then leaves for Lassiters to await the judge's arrival.

..

Jane, Des and Melanie are still catching up. Melanie has continued to work as a PA, which has been encouraged by Madame Zolga. She asks if Clive has any single friends as she's not been in a successful relationship since Joe Mangel. Des then texts Jane to say he's been thinking of her. Melanie doesn't think they are right for each other and asks Des his opinion, he just wants Jane to be happy. Although both Jane and Des look unconvinced by her being lucky to be with Clive.

Sheila and Clive have now arrived at the 82, where she thanks him for being her 'knight in shining armour'. As Roxy takes a picture of them, Jacinta Hay, the judge of the Erinsborough's Best Dish competition arrives. Kyle briefly explains the history of the business and the importance of keeping Gary's memory alive through the menu. He presents 'Gary's Aussie Sausage' which includes the mixed mushroom gravy and parsnip puree. Kyle, Roxy, Sheila and Clive all watch on as Jacinta takes her first bite.

..

Melanie is continuing to praise Jane and Des for being able to keep a close friendship after their marriage split. While Jane and Melanie continue to talk, Des is sent the picture of Sheila and Clive at the tram. Still unconvinced by Clive and Jane's relationship, Melanie makes another comment about how much time he is spending with his ex. Jane makes a passioned attempt to convince her everything is fine.

Jacinta is making notes on Kyle's dish, and explains she can only sample a small amount. Not wanting to give false hope, Jacinta does comment on how she wishes she could eat more and tells Kyle he should be proud of the work he has done. After she leaves, Roxy and Kyle leave to cook while Sheila tells Clive it would be good to have a positive start to the year after the events of 2020. She apologises to Clive for the 'catastrophes' she caused during their relationship, he says she wasn't the only one to make mistakes.

..

In the Waterhole, Paul boasts to Kyle about the success of Jacinta's visit to Lassiters.

Outside, Jacinta can be seen sweating and placing her hand on her stomach as if she is in pain.

..

Paul and Kyle continue their playful competition.

Jacinta is continuing to sweat as she walks.

..

Roxy praises Kyle for not 'throttling' Paul as they join Levi at a nearby table.

Jacinta looks as though she is going to be sick.

..

Kyle, Roxy and Levi make a toast to keeping Gary's memory alive.

Jacinta bends down next to a car and is sick.

..

Melanie tells Jane and Des it has been lovely to see them both and hopes to keep in touch with Jane as they now live so close. Once again she brings up Clive's situation with Sheila. As she says goodbye, Melanie narrowly misses Paul as he hides behind a tree to avoid her. Paul then notices Jane and Des, saying 'you'll never guess who I just saw', but they are quick to let him know she's recently moved back to the area as they've spent the last five hours with her. Jane comments on Melanie's keenness to reconnect with old friends, as Des lets Paul know she wondered if he was single. Paul replies that Melanie always used to ask if people were single, so she really hasn't changed.

..

Des then notices Clive walking through the complex and shouts for his attention, asking why he's sending Jane 'cutesy' messages while he's with Sheila at the tram. Clive says he's not messing around with anyone to which Des questions if Clive is trying to have it off with both of them. Jane is watching on as the conversation unfolds. Des believes Clive is trying to scam him as he knows about his relationship with Beverly Robinson, Clive takes offence at this accusation, telling Des it is none of his business what he does. Jane interrupts and asks for an answer as it is her business.
