Yashvi informs Dipi that she wants to move to Sydney... Mackenzie becomes annoyed with Hendrix as he worries about Leo... Chloe tells David and Aaron that
she has no more doubts about Nicolette... David has an argument with Leo about Chloe and Nicolette... Chloe admits to Leo that she needs to take things
slower with Nicolette... Nicolette proposes to Chloe...
At the rotunda there is an awkward silence as Nicolette awaits Chloe's response to her proposal. After giving the briefest of nods, Chloe confirms to
Nicolette that she will marry her. An ecstatic Nicolette quickly embraces her, but as she does so Chloe looks concerned about her decision.
..

Meanwhile, at no. 30, Mackenzie is trying to be helpful as Yashvi packs her belongings; she is given short shrift however as Yashvi tells her that she
doesn't need any assistance. Levi is also on the receiving end of Yashvi's bad temper as he arrives to give her a goodbye gift, with Yashvi telling him
that she doesn't have time to open his present. Realising that Yashvi is not in a convivial mood, Levi and Mackenzie decide to leave. Toadie, having
witnessed his niece's behaviour, informs Yashvi that she is being rather harsh with her friends.
After her difficult moment with Yashvi, Mackenzie is at Harold's ready to vent to Hendrix about her friend's rudeness, but Hendrix is distracted when he
sees Ned. They talk to Ned about his new job at the cafe and although Ned feels that the role is not dissimilar to The Flamingo Bar, he is struggling with
the food preparation protocols. Hendrix starts to talk to Ned about 'first in first out' when it comes to using up food stocks, leading Ned to realise that
he is going to need more help in the kitchen. With Mackenzie's encouragement, Ned becomes enthused with the idea of having Hendrix work in the cafe with him,
although he cautions Hendrix that he will need to talk to Dipi first before making a final decision.
..

Outside the community centre David and Aaron are chatting with Nicolette's pregnant friend Maya as they prepare for their antenatal class. David becomes
worried as Nicolette has not arrived yet, but Aaron tells him to take deep breaths as they practiced in their sessions. The reason for Nicolette's delay
is revealed as she is busy chatting to Chloe as they walk to the community centre, with Chloe suggesting that they should keep their engagement a secret
for the time being, so as not to take attention away from the baby. This plan lasts mere seconds however as Nicolette, having reached David and Aaron,
quickly reveals the news of her engagement to Chloe. The boys are shocked but give Nicolette and Chloe congratulatory hugs, whilst Maya smiles and tells
the girls that they will be the most gorgeous brides. Whilst Nicolette heads inside the community centre with David and Maya, Aaron hangs back so he can have
a private word with Chloe. He asks his sister if she is sure about marrying Nicolette, but Chloe assures him that he is not the only one who would like a
happy ever after, indicating that getting engaged to Nicolette is a good thing.
Over at no. 26, Levi is sitting in the backyard as Kyle joins him; he asks Levi if Yashvi hated her gift, but a despondent Levi reveals that Yashvi was too
busy packing to open it. Feeling upset at another person leaving Ramsay Street after Bea's departure, Levi is cheered up by Kyle's attempts to soften the
blow by joking that he will still be around. As they chat Yashvi arrives, with Kyle quickly heading inside to give her and Levi some privacy. Yashvi
apologises for her behaviour earlier and admits that she was trying to ignore everyone to avoid having to say goodbye, unable to face the reality of
leaving Ramsay Street. She takes the opportunity to open Levi's present and laughs as it is revealed to be a mug with a work ID photo of herself on it
with the tagline 'World's Best Partner'. Levi tells Yashvi that she has been an amazing partner and an even better friend, before offering her some sage
advice about not being pushed around in Sydney.
..

At the Waterhole, Leo finds Chloe sitting alone and is surprised as she tells him that she agreed to Nicolette's marriage proposal. A confused Leo
indicates to Chloe that he thought she was going to see Nicolette to ask for space, but Chloe admits that she fell for Nicolette's heartfelt gesture.
Despite Chloe's attempts to defend the union, Leo is unsure as to whether Chloe loves Nicolette, telling her that he thought she wanted to slow things
down in the relationship. Chloe offers a retort by telling Leo that she was trying to be more spontaneous, a suggestion that he had given her previously.
She is also certain that the wedding will be on the back burner due to the surrogacy taking precedence, feeling confident that by the time the wedding comes
around she will be ready. Leo sees through the facade and asks Chloe who she is trying to convince, him or her, feeling adamant that she has made the wrong
decision in agreeing to Nicolette's proposal.
A happy Hendrix is giving Karl and Susan some good news at Harold's, informing them of his job offer from Ned. He tells them that the job is part time,
allowing him to fit the shifts around his studies, but Karl reminds him that there was a job offer at The 82 on the table as well. Hendrix admits that he
didn't want to mix work and home life so The 82 wasn't an option for him. This leads Susan to remind Hendrix that he should let Chloe know about his new
job.
..

Meanwhile, at Sonya's Nursery, Toadie thanks Yashvi for her help, but she is distracted as she is unable to contact Mackenzie on the phone to apologise
for her earlier behaviour. Her worries are soon eradicated however as Mackenzie, along with Dipi, Nell, Hugo, Ned and Levi, are waiting for Yashvi inside
the nursery to give her an impromptu farewell party. This is a happy surprise for Yashvi. As well as feeling grateful at the gesture from her friends and
family, Yashvi mentions that holding the party at the nursery is even more special as it gives Sonya a chance to say goodbye too. Toadie is touched by this
sentiment. With the assembled residents giving her their best wishes, Yashvi takes the opportunity to apologise to Mackenzie for her shortness before,
telling her that she took her despondency at leaving Ramsay Street out on her. She goes on to tell Mackenzie that she is like a sister to her, before asking
if she will stick to her for the rest of the day so that she doesn't become a 'blubbering mess'. Mackenzie, touched by the sister comment, agrees.
The antenatal class has finished at the Community Centre as Nicolette and Maya stroll out arm-in-arm, talking about the proposal. Maya is curious as to
whether Chloe said yes straight away but Nicolette admits that there was a delay, probably due to the shock of the announcement. They say goodbye to Aaron
and David, with David, having overhead the conversation, looking concerned that Chloe didn't say yes to the proposal immediately. He indicates to Aaron that
his gut is telling him that Chloe is not completely sure about her decision to marry Nicolette, suggesting that Nicolette will be devastated if Chloe changes
her mind, particularly with the birth so soon. Aaron tries to calm David down by assuring him that the wedding will not be straight away, not until after the
baby is born, whilst reminding him that it was Chloe's decision to get involved with Nicolette in the first place. He suggests that they should focus on being
there for Nicolette in both her engagement and pregnancy, with David reluctantly agreeing that they should support the engagement.
..

Back at the nursery, Yashvi receives a text message from Susan, wishing her luck for the future. She then asks Hendrix to keep an eye on Mackenzie for her
once she's gone, but Hendrix jokes that his new job comes first and Mackenzie second. This doesn't go down well with Mackenzie and as she goes to get a
drink, Ned intercepts Hendrix and reminds him that it was Mackenzie who helped him secure the job at Harold's and that he should let her know how
appreciative he is for her help. He goes on to tell Hendrix that Mackenzie must be really upset at her friend leaving, leading Hendrix to thank Ned
for his instructive advice. Having offered Hendrix his thoughts, Ned heads over to talk to Kyle, but reveals to him that he hasn't said goodbye to Yashvi
yet, admitting that his personal life has suffered since Amy knocked him back. This comment leads Kyle to offer some insider knowledge by revealing that he
overheard Roxy on the phone last night talking to Amy, with Amy seemingly still curious about Ned's romantic situation. This unexpected revelation puts a
smile on Ned's face.
At the Lassiters Complex, Chloe chats to Hendrix about attending Yashvi's farewell gathering and is thrilled when he tells her about his job at the cafe.
This leads Chloe to reveal her own news about her engagement to Nicolette, which stuns Hendrix into silence. Incredulous with Chloe's admission, Hendrix asks
her why she has decided to marry Nicolette, feeling certain that she is making a big mistake on a par with marrying Pierce. Chloe defends her actions by
telling Hendrix that if this is a mistake, it is her mistake to make, before cuttingly reminding Hendrix that he has made plenty of mistakes in his life
and she shouldn't be taking advice from a teenager who has made such a mess of things. Rattled by this response, Hendrix takes a defiant attitude by
sarcastically telling Chloe to get married, live the dream and be happy, before walking off. This leaves Chloe looking visibly upset.
..

Leo arrives at no. 32 to talk to David about Chloe's engagement, having already heard the news earlier. Clearly hurt by the announcement, he tells his
brother that the set-up at the lake was predictable and mainstream. Aware of Leo's misgivings, David quickly changes tack by informing him that he and
Aaron are planning to throw a congratulatory dinner for Chloe and Nicolette, for which he is welcome to attend. Leo declines the offer despite David's
suggestion that this would be a good way to mend bridges with Chloe, telling his brother that he is staying well out of things. Having said his piece,
Leo saunters off, much to David's displeasure.
At Sonya's Nursery, Yashvi is coaching Nell and Hugo on how to deal with Toadie once she is gone, before grinning and giving them both high fives. She
and Toadie then reminisce over old times, with Toadie reminding Yashvi of the time she set off fireworks in the backyard and the implications this could
have had for Kirsha. With her checkered past behind her, Toadie tells Yashvi that he is proud of the person that she has become and how well she is doing.
He gives her a hug and tells her not to be a stranger, before Ned comes over to give Yashvi his own private farewell chat. Ned hands Yashvi a gift bag,
admitting that he wasn't sure what to say so instead brought her a present. It's revealed that the gift is a towel, with Ned informing Yashvi that this
is a new towel for a new start, a reminder of the day that she saved him from his incident in the sauna. Feeling saddened at their parting of ways, Yashvi
tells Ned not to give up on his dreams as he deserves good things, with Ned imparting the same advice on Yashvi. He taps her on the nose and then hugs her,
before Dipi signals that they are running late for the airport. Yashvi gives one last hug to Mackenzie and Nell as she walks away with Dipi, the other
partygoers waving her goodbye.
..

With her best friend having departed, a deflated Mackenzie returns to no. 30 to find Hendrix in the house holding a cupcake. He shows her the 'emergency
sad pack' he put together for her, but Mackenzie tells him that she's not hungry. She is however touched by Hendrix's thoughtful gesture as he offers her
the chance to play on his game console to cheer herself up. Hendrix apologises for being so focused on Chloe and not his girlfriend, assuring Mackenzie
that he has given up trying to fix Chloe's life and his focus is now on her, indicating that he will be there whenever she needs him. Mackenzie smiles at
this, seemingly grateful for the support.
..

Dinner is underway at no. 32 as David and Aaron sit with Chloe and Nicolette
at the table. As David comments on how unfortunate it is that Jane and Clive
can't join them, Nicolette informs them about how emotional she has been today, surmising that this is to do with her hormones. She suggests to Chloe that
they go wedding shopping together so that they can coordinate their looks, but Chloe looks alarmed and reminds Nicolette that there is plenty of time for
wedding planning later. As Nicolette continues to talk about wedding plans, the honeymoon and starting a family, Chloe looks even more uneasy, something that
doesn't go unnoticed by David and Aaron. Sensing that Chloe is retreating into herself, Aaron attempts to make some light-hearted conversation about wedding
dresses to Nicolette, however the situation is too much for Chloe and she suddenly gets up from her chair, indicating to the group that she will go out to
the shop and buy them all dessert. David looks troubled with her skittish behaviour.
Chloe escapes to the Waterhole and sees Leo drinking wine outside. Seeing how downhearted Chloe looks, Leo wordlessly offers her his wine glass for her to
drink. She joins him at the table and looks lost in thought as she contemplates her situation.
..

Inside the Waterhole, Kyle is playing pool with Ned and Levi and calls them pathetic for being so downbeat after Yashvi's departure. He reminds them that
she is only in Sydney and that they can always visit her, unlike most of his exes who have moved overseas. Ned and Levi agree that they are acting a bit
too maudlin as Kyle suggests that the next round of drinks is on Levi. As Levi heads to the bar, Ned tells Kyle that he is thinking of resuming his
relationship with Amy, with Kyle feeling that this is a good move as they no longer work together and have always made each other smile. They are both
unaware that Levi is also looking at re-engaging a past relationship as he sends a text to Amy with the message 'Let's catch up when you get home'.
