Mick hides when he sees Chloe talking to Aaron... Chloe admits to Terese that HR hired the wrong person but promises that she will fix the mistake... Leo
tells Paul that he intends to start a whisky distillery... Terese pretends to be unimpressed when she's forced to work with Paul and later admits to Susan
that she is torn between hating and missing him... Terese purchases alcohol to put into a flask...
Both Terese and Paul arrive in Queensland for the Lassiters conference in separate cars and greet Lucy at the entrance. Lucy informs Terese that she has
organised a nice room for her, allowing Terese to head there to freshen up before the presentation. As she leaves Lucy links arms with Paul and indicates
that not only is she worried about him on a personal level but is also concerned about how the presentation will go. Despite his sister's worries Paul tells
her that everything will be fine as he and Terese always put business before personal issues. There is however a change in the schedule as Lucy tells Paul
that he and Terese will be presenting first, giving them only two hours to make the necessary changes that Lucy requires. Paul realises that Terese will not
be happy with this but assures Lucy that they will have to persevere.
..

Shortly afterwards Terese is indeed displeased as Paul enters her hotel room to reveal Lucy's change of plans, however she suggests that Paul give her Lucy's
notes so that she can deal with the rewrites herself. Paul is concerned that this is too much work for one person and Terese acquiesces, telling him that he
can take control of the introduction and conclusion and she will focus on the section regarding venue hire. As Paul settles down to work, Terese reminds him
that they can continue to work on the presentation separately rather than be in the same room together. Agreeing to her request, Paul tells Terese that he
will email her the changes when they are completed. He does air the concern about Terese's work centring on the Lassiters terrace, due to previous history
there, but Terese assures Paul that she will be fine to work on it alone.
Meanwhile, back in Erinsborough, Harlow is annoyed to see Mick sitting in Terese's chair in her office, with his feet up on her desk. She becomes further
enraged as Mick asks her to order him a pink vanilla drizzle cake for his birthday next week, indicating that all the staff can have their breaks extended
on the day so that they can attend the festivities. A frustrated Harlow asks Mick why he applied for the job as she senses that he doesn't have any practical
hotel experience, but Mick flippantly tells her that his occupation before Lassiters was as a 'professional job applicant'. Before Harlow can respond Chloe
walks into the office and asks Mick if he told one of the guests to cover themselves up before heading to the pool. Harlow steps to his defence and informs
Chloe that he just meant for the guest to cover themselves in sunscreen. Still annoyed, Chloe asks Harlow for a quiet word and Mick leaves the office,
allowing Chloe to shut the door. She tells Harlow that Mick is a disaster waiting to happen, but Harlow cuttingly replies that if she had given her the
job then she wouldn't have gotten herself into this mess. Harlow leaves the office, giving Chloe the opportunity to figure out what to do regarding the
resume debacle.
..

Back at the conference venue Terese is struggling with her part of the presentation as she works on it in her hotel room. She has a flashback to happier
times between herself and Paul on the Lassiters terrace, in which he promised to spend the rest of his life 'loving, protecting and worshipping' her. As
the memories overwhelm her, she takes the bottle of alcohol and flask out of her suitcase, preceding to pour the drink into the flask and then holding on
to it tightly.
In the Lassiters hotel foyer, David and Leo have brought Isla around to visit Chloe. As they chat Chloe asks the boys how Nicolette is doing, indicating
that they were supposed to catch up recently, but Nicolette gave her the cold shoulder. Although David suggests that Nicolette might be busy, Leo is certain
that she is annoyed generally at seeing him back in town. Despite the disappointing news regarding Nicolette, Chloe feels that this will allow her to
concentrate on solving her work issues with Mick instead. Leo asks Chloe if she found out how he was hired in the first place, but Chloe is unsure, feeling
that this is more than just a simple HR mix-up.
..

At the conference venue Lucy passes by to thank Terese for her speedy work on the presentation, with Terese having managed to push through her personal
issues. Lucy also takes the opportunity to check in with Terese on a personal level, indicating that although she isn't clear on what Paul did to break up
the marriage, Terese will always be her sister-in-law regardless. She feels guilty about forcing Paul and Terese to work together considering the fraught
circumstances, but Terese assures Lucy that she can still do the presentation, unhappy with the idea of Paul taking all the credit considering the work
she has put in. This brings a smile to Lucy's face as she realises that Terese's spark is still there despite everything that has happened. With the
presentation moments away, Terese asks Lucy for a few minutes to compose herself. However, as Lucy leaves, Terese pulls out the flask from under her
pillow and takes a couple of large swigs.
Meanwhile at Lassiters, Harlow is summoned in to see Chloe at the hotel office, with Chloe immediately asking Harlow if she purposely put Mick's resume
on the wrong pile because she was upset at not being given the management job. Harlow denies this, vehemently telling Chloe that if she were to swap
resumes, she would have put hers there instead. Her defensive stance doesn't go down well with Chloe as she asks Harlow if she manipulated the situation
so that Mick would be hired, to cause trouble for her. Once again Harlow denies this and asks to be dismissed so that she can have her lunch break, angrily
telling Chloe that if she wasn't so distracted by the dramas in her private life, she wouldn't feel the need to pass the blame on to her. An unconvinced
Chloe suggests to Harlow that she is lying, but Harlow simply states that she is defending herself.
..

The presentation is concluded at the conference hotel as Lucy congratulates Terese and Paul on a good job. She tells them that they are a fabulous team,
and, despite a couple of awkward glances, both Terese and Paul agree that they performed well together. Paul tells Terese that he has never seen her so
relaxed in a presentation, with Terese cuttingly replying that she's probably happy as he will be leaving soon. As these words sink in another project pops
into Lucy's head, as she asks Terese and Paul to look over some refurbishment plans for the Lassiters Gold Coast resort. In need of some fresh air, Terese
tells Lucy that this will have to wait as she wants to spend some time at the beach.
At the penthouse, David returns from putting Isla down for a nap, asking Leo for his brother's thoughts about Chloe's theory regarding Harlow and the
resumes. Although Leo is certain that Harlow is too much of a 'good girl' to do something underhand, David admits that his niece has 'grown some sharp
edges' recently. This leads Leo to question whether Chloe could be right in her theory, but David doesn't think that Harlow would be that brazen in her
attempts to undermine Chloe. As they chat Harlow appears from the elevator to begin her work break, allowing the boys to bring up the subject of the resume
directly with her. Harlow is defiant and tells David and Leo that it is ridiculous for Chloe to be blaming her poor management skills on her, although Leo
reminds her that she did really want the job. This leads to further denials from Harlow as she rejects the notion that she had a hand in Mick's hiring,
questioning why she would want to work with an incompetent manager. She does however admit that seeing the situation with Mick explode in Chloe's face will
be of great satisfaction to her, her smirk becoming wider as she thinks about what will happen. David and Leo look astonished at this, wondering what has
happened to the Harlow they used to know.
..

..

With the conference at an end Paul is on the hotel balcony confirming with his driver to pick him up and take him to the airport. He sees Terese walking
downstairs and calls out to her to let her know he's heading home, but Terese merely glances his way before resuming her walk to the beach. Feeling
downhearted with Terese's reaction, Paul is about to head inside when he sees a man sitting on a park bench adjacent to the hotel, staring at him. Paul
panics as he realises that the man looks very much like his half-brother Glen Donnelly.
Paul heads over to the park as quickly as he can but when he arrives the man is no longer there.
..

At Lassiters, Mick finds Chloe sitting outside the hotel and asks her if she prefers tiger, leopard or zebra print, explaining that he was thinking about
redecorating the outdoor area into a jungle theme. Annoyed, Chloe tells Mick that she would rather he learn the basics of the job first, leading Mick to
walk off with a cutting remark. As he leaves, Leo arrives and asks Chloe if everything is okay, but Chloe sarcastically tells him that she is just watching
her career disappear before her eyes, surmising that if she doesn't get rid of Mick soon, she will look as incompetent as he is. After a brief discussion
about Harlow's possible hand in Mick's hiring, Leo surprises Chloe by suggesting that she come and work with him at the vineyard as his second in command.
Chloe doesn't look convinced with the proposal, asking Leo if this job offer has an ulterior motive, but Leo confirms that he has no other agenda and asks
her if she would like to be his 'wing woman'. Lost for words, Chloe struggles to garner a response to Leo's proposition.
After his earlier fright, Paul is pacing the balcony and looking out at the park when Lucy comes across him. She is surprised that he hasn't left for the
airport yet but becomes bewildered when Paul tells her that he thinks he just saw Glen, certain that he was sitting on a park bench a short while ago. Lucy
reminds Paul that not only is Glen probably in a wheelchair, but he has been missing for thirty years, incredulous at the idea that he would be at the same
conference venue they are. Despite Lucy's protestations, Paul tells her that he will stay at the hotel tonight to seek out Glen, ignoring his sister's
suggestion that this is merely a ploy to get closer to Terese.
..

At the penthouse Harlow is sitting on the couch with her feet up, reading a book, and is greeted by Leo. He asks her why she isn't back at work yet and
Harlow explains that Chloe gave her an extra fifteen-minute break for looking after Mick. Harlow then informs Leo that Paul will not be returning home
tonight but will be staying on at the conference venue, slyly suggesting that this is an excuse for Paul to wine and dine Terese. This worries Leo, who
tells Harlow that he hopes Paul doesn't push too hard in his attempts to win back her affections. Although Harlow suggests that Terese can look after
herself, Leo becomes concerned that Paul will use whatever tricks he has up his sleeve and explains to Harlow that it can be very easy to cross a line
and hurt people when you want something so much. Harlow thinks that Leo has become softer since becoming a father, believing that this is the reason for
his concern. As she turns back to her reading, Leo doesn't look enthused with Harlow's response to his worries.
Believing that Paul has returned home, Terese is enjoying a solitary and pleasant walk along the beach, stopping to pick up a shell on the sand. She
receives a phone call from Susan and assures her friend that she is doing well, feeling happy that not only is the presentation concluded but Paul is
seemingly no longer around to upset her. She goes on to tell Susan that she is going to enjoy the next three days of sun and scenery, indicating that
she will catch up with her when back in Erinsborough.
..

Back at Lassiters, Chloe informs Leo that although she was flattered by his job offer, she can't accept it, indicating that she doesn't want to leave
Terese in the lurch. Leo sees this as an excuse and asks Chloe for the real reason behind her decision, with Chloe admitting that the situation with
Nicolette is becoming problematic. She tells Leo that it feels more than a coincidence that his return to Erinsborough has brought on Nicolette's sudden
coldness towards her, suggesting that working for him would only make things worse. Despite Leo's attempts to change her mind, Chloe tells him that her
decision is made; she is adamant that fixing things with Nicolette is more important than taking up his job offer.
..

Glen is lurking outside the conference hotel, semi-hidden from the hotel entrance. He sees Lucy walk out of the hotel and with a smile on his face,
takes a few steps towards her. He suddenly freezes when he sees Paul walking out of the hotel shortly afterwards, quickly retreating to his hiding
spot. Paul is on the phone to Hilary, asking her if she has heard anything from Glen over the years. His reaction suggests that she hasn't heard from
him either, whilst Glen continues to watch from afar.
