On Ramsay Street, as Wendy and Andrew are getting out of the car, he spots Holly and Max walking up the street. Before Andrew can do anything, Wendy spots them and calls over, asking what 'Erinsborough's Next Top Model' is up to. Holly says that it was probably her first and last photoshoot but Max says that he's seen some of the pictures and she looked gorgeous. Wendy agrees, looking to Andrew for confirmation, which he gives before quickly changing the subject to Gavin Bowman. He checks that Cara spoke to Holly earlier and she confirms that she did and that she's grateful. Max asks what's going on and Andrew is surprised that Holly didn't tell him already. She explains that she freaked out when Bowman started following her again but it's all sorted now. Max says that she needs to start telling him about things like this and, as they hug, Wendy and Andrew head inside. Holly then receives a call from Krista, shocked by what she's told...

..

At the hotel, Krista is taking Holly into the office, confirming to her that they were the last two people in there and that Holly was supposed to have locked the safe. Holly asks if she's being accused of something but Krista insists that she's just trying to get all of the facts to work out what happened. Holly tells her that she got changed, put the jewellery in the safe and left, and that she didn't see anyone else. Annalise then joins them with the additional information that the photographer didn't come up to the office after the shoot. Holly realises that Paul is going to hit the roof when he finds out and Annalise thinks that they should tell him, then the police, but Krista wants to do one more search of the hotel before raising the alarm.

In hotel reception, Krista is searching before telling Sam to check with all of the housekeeping staff and sending Katrina to get hold of all of the CCTV footage. Meanwhile, Holly is looking in the Piano Bar, with Taye confused and asking if the jewellery is covered by insurance. Holly points out that she was the last one to see the jewels and if they don't find them, then it's her head on the chopping block. Unfortunately, Paul then appears and overhears, wanting to know exactly what's going on.

..

At no. 26, the Rodwells are all at home and Sadie is wondering why her parents are in such a good mood, suddenly worrying that it's to do with their sex life. Wendy says that it's actually because they're proud of her, having seen her in action as a make-up artist and knowing all of the hard work she's putting into the Amanda Harris Scholarship. Sadie is grateful for their support, and Andrew tells her that she'll always have it, calling them 'Team Rodwell'. When Wendy goes outside to get some mint for their tea, Sadie tells her dad that it's been a while since the family has felt so functional and she hugs him. Once she's left the room, Andrew looks unhappy with the situation he's found himself in with Holly but is snapped out of it by his phone ringing.

At the hotel office, Paul is furious that he wasn't informed about the missing jewellery as soon as it happened, but Krista explains that she wanted to do a thorough search before raising the alarm. He points out that she was just giving the thief more time to get away, though Krista believes that they'd already have been long gone. Paul then suggests that the thief could be someone close by, turning his attention to Holly, who insists that she didn't steal anything. Annalise then joins them to say that she's checked the CCTV - nobody else came out of the lift after Holly, but the camera in the stairwell was switched off. Paul then turns his attention back to Holly, saying that only someone who works at the hotel would know how to turn the camera off. She continues to deny any involvement, but admits that she can't be completely sure that she locked the safe after she put the jewellery in there. As things start to get heated, Andrew arrives to take statements and Krista says that she's compiling a list of everyone who was around when the jewels went missing. Paul then says that Holly has to be the prime suspect, so Andrew asks her to accompany him to the station.

..

At the police station, Andrew turns on the CCTV cameras then sits down, opposite Holly, and asks her exactly what happened after the photoshoot. She says no, which he takes to mean 'no comment' but she says that she's saying no to all of it, describing it as 'a crock', adding that she nearly died in a silo and she thought that Heath owed her but after taking his money, she learnt her lesson when his heavies came after her. Andrew says that he remembers, but Holly continues, ranting about how she can be reckless but she isn't a thief. Andrew tells her to stop and take a breath, but she tells him to stop, saying that he knows her and he knows that she wouldn't steal the jewellery. He finally gets up and turns off the CCTV, telling Holly that she's one of the most stubborn people he's ever met and that he's been trying to get her to calm down because everything she's saying is being recorded. She realises that he was trying to help, as he adds that he does believe her but he just needs her to answer the questions honestly and without making the situation any worse for herself. As he asks if she can do that, she nods in agreement and confirms that she's happy to continue, so Andrew goes to switch the CCTV back on.

A little later, Andrew and Holly are leaving the interview room and there's a moment between them as he picks up her keys and their hands touch. The moment quickly ends as Max and Wendy rush in, with Max checking on Holly, whilst Wendy asks her husband if there's been any luck finding the jewellery. He confirms that there hasn't, before reminding Holly not to leave town, as she's still a person if interest. She and Max then leave, and Holly glances back at Andrew.

..

In the Lassiters reception, Krista is on the phone to Annalise, wondering what they're going to do now. Annalise is sitting in the office and suggests that it might be time to call Johan and let him know what's happened. Krista, wondering if this is going to jeopardise them hosting the expo, says that she'll make the call as she feels responsible. Annalise tries to tell her that she's not to blame, but they're interrupted as Sam calls Krista over to the reception desk, where she's found the jewels stashed in one of the drawers.

At Harolds, Holly is wondering why every good thing that happens to her ultimately ends up going bad, but Max tries to reassure her. She points out that, in the space of one day, she's gone from being a glamorous model to a D-grade employee that nobody trusts, and she wishes that she could just have a win for once. As Sadie brings them some cake, Holly is shocked to receive a text telling her that the jewels have been found and she goes to make a call and find out more details. Sadie then starts hinting to Max about the sexy photos that Holly took, but realises quickly that he knows nothing about it, worried that she's ruined the surprise. When Holly comes back and says that they found the jewellery behind the reception desk, Max tries to find out more about his surprise, but Sadie quickly tries to change the subject.

..

Outside the Waterhole, Krista and Annalise are ordering a celebratory drink, and whilst Krista orders something non-alcoholic, Aaron tells Annalise that they have some of her favourite Riesling, but it's only by the bottle. Krista decides that Annalise will take a bottle and, as Aaron leaves, she thanks Annalise for all of her support whilst the jewels were missing. Annalise asks who found the jewellery in the end, and Krista confirms that it was Sam and that Katrina was behind the desk too, and that the police have fingerprinted the whole area but they don't hold out much hope as it's such a high traffic area. Krista doesn't understand why someone would take them only to return them a few hours later, but Annalise wonders if it was intended to destabilise things, pointing out that last week, someone sent back the expo signage and they never found out who that was, but the theft of the jewellery is a clear and worrying escalation. As the two women are chatting, Annalise's estranged husband, Sam Kratz, is watching her from a distance.

Back at Harolds, Sadie sends Max off to check why their coffees are taking so long, then sidles over to Holly and asks why she didn't send those pictures to Max. She admits that she let slip to Max about the surprise and Holly is horrified, quickly claiming that she doesn't need anyone to know about that, as they're pictures of her half naked in jewellery she was just accused of stealing. Sadie realises that she's messed up, but then Max returns with cake. Sadie quickly decides to cover for her friend and says that the 'saucy surprise' was a couple's massage at the day spa. Max is touched by the gesture and Holly smiles at Sadie, but is clearly becoming uncomfortable with the ever increasing number of lies being told.

..

Aaron pours some wine for Annalise, who smiles as she drinks it. Krista asks her about it and she explains that she and Sam once took a day trip to the Yarra Valley and ended up at a winery where they sheltered from the bad weather in the tasting room. She tells them how they ended up drinking more of the wine than they spat out and then booked a room for the night, and Krista realises that Annalise is really missing Sam. She admits that she'll always love him but she can't see any way back after what he did, though Krista points out that she and Leo overcame some huge obstacles, but Annalise says that she's focusing on herself and her new friends for now. Sam, meanwhile, continues to watch from a distance.

In the Lassiters office, Paul is still annoyed that the theft happened in the first place, even if the jewels have been returned, but Terese wonders if he's really annoyed about the fact that Krista and Annalise finally seem to be getting along. He denies that he wants Annalise and Krista to be at loggerheads, but adds that the whole point of testing Annalise is so that they can spend more time with family in New York. Terese understands that, but thinks that it's time for the test to be done as he's just torturing those two poor women at this point. As Terese says that it's time for the truth to come out, Krista and Annalise appear in the doorway, wanting to know what she's talking about. Terese then sits back and observes, as Krista and Annalise wait for an explanation.

..

At the Waterhole, Aaron returns to the bar where Sam Kratz is sitting, waiting to be served. Aaron apologises and starts clearing up, at which point Sam notices the half-drunk wine bottle from Annalise's table, surprised that someone would leave any, as it's 'a good drop'. Aaron explains that the person drinking it had to go back to work, but he's promised to keep the rest for her as it reminds her of a weekend away she once had. Sam looks interested by this and tells Aaron that he's after something to eat so, as Aaron goes to get a menu, Sam takes a phone call, arranging a meeting with the mystery caller and saying that Annalise doesn't know and she mustn't find out.

Back at the hotel office, Paul insists that nobody needs to get upset as it's no big deal, but Annalise is horrified to find out that she's been on a job interview the whole time. Paul explains that he didn't say anything earlier because he wasn't sure if the New York plans were going ahead, but now there is a job opening. Krista calls him 'a piece of work' but Paul doesn't see that he did anything wrong by testing them to see if they worked well together. Annalise believes that it was more a case of him pitting them against each other, though Paul says that he just wanted to see if they could overcome any obstacles - and they passed! Krista is furious about this, pointing out that she's a co-owner of the hotel, not his subordinate, and that this whole thing is just disrespectful. She walks out, closely followed by Annalise, whilst Terese gives Paul a look that says 'I told you so'.

..

At no. 28, Holly is preparing to go out, but as she leaves the house she finds Andrew, trying to make a quick getaway. She's surprised, but asks him inside, and he says that he wanted to see how she was doing. He tells her how sorry he is about what happened with the jewellery but at least it's over now, though Holly says that it won't be long before something else happens, when everyone thinks the worst of her. Andrew believes that she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, though Holly says that it feels like a never-ending cycle and she's sick of it. She wonders if she should just prove everyone right, and then she thanks Andrew for the way he's looked out for her recently. He admits that he wishes that he could do more to help, but then Holly looks disappointed as he says that he should leave.

..

At the penthouse, Annalise and Krista are discussing the day's events, and Annalise says that Krista is right to be upset, as Paul's behaviour was shocking. Krista admits that she never knows where she stands with him, as they're co-owners and family, then he treats her like this. Just then, Paul and Terese get out of the lift, and Paul is very apologetic, though Krista isn't willing to listen. Paul then turns to Annalise, asking if she accepts his job offer but she turns him down. She says that she would love the job, but it's up to Krista and she needs time to think about it and make the decision. After Annalise leaves, Paul asks Krista how they can get past this, but she isn't sure that they can. As Terese nods along, Krista points out that this shows just how little he thinks of her, both personally and professionally, and he doesn't deserve help from her or Annalise, so he's on his own with the Bronze Bell...
