Bessie 2007

When Tom Kennedy, suffering from dementia, went to live at the Carole Harvey Memorial Nursing Home, his family visited frequently, with the exception of his step-grandson, Zeke, who had grown close to Tom and was unable to cope with seeing him in a home. Zeke eventually agreed to go, but became upset when Tom, who had previously run his own farm for many years, started talking about going to milk the cow, Bessie. Zeke ran off but was convinced to return and was surprised to see that there really was a cow named Bessie, who lived on the nearby farm and was a regular visitor for the people of the nursing home.
