When Paul McClain was selected for the NRL drafts, he and his family watched with baited breath as television host Clive Booth called out the picks. As time went on and almost every state had made their selections, Paul was still without a team and was about to give up hope when he was announced by Clive as a last-minute pick for the Adelaide Crows, the only downside being that he had to pack up and leave his life in Erinsborough the next day.
