The third son born to Graham and Prue Brown, Paul (named after Paul McCartney of The Beatles) was just over a year old when he tragically died on Christmas Day 1985. Following a hectic day, Prue had put Paul, as well as his two older brothers, Johnny and George, to bed, only to later wake to find George in the back garden, staring at the lifeless body of his baby brother, floating in the pool. The family then filled in the swimming pool and George – who, as a teenager, left home and changed his name to Frazer – blocked out the incident completely until he was in his 20s, when the repressed memory was preventing him from walking again, following an accident which had left him temporarily paralysed. After finding Paul’s grave, covered up next to those of his grandparents, Frazer confronted Prue, who broke down and told him everything, admitting that she had subconsciously blamed him for the accident for all those years.
