Marco was born on 26th September 2008 to Frazer Yeats and Rosie Cammeniti, a few months after they left Ramsay Street for an extended trip to Italy, to stay with Rosie’s family. He was the child that they thought they had lost – after struggling to come to terms with her unexpected pregnancy in the first place, feeling that she wanted to concentrate on her career and motherhood was not for her, Rosie was devastated when their first scan seemed to reveal that she had suffered a phantom pregnancy. As Frazer tried to deal with the news, Rosie refused to accept it – and a miracle occurred when it turned out that Rosie was pregnant after all. In their grief, Frazer and Rosie had planned to travel to Italy and they decided to go ahead with the trip anyway.

Five months after they left Ramsay Street behind, news was delivered via Frazer’s brother, Ringo, and Rosie’s sister, Carmella, that Rosie had given birth to a baby boy. They named him Marco after Carmella’s husband, Marco Silvani, who had died tragically three months earlier.
