Catherine

When English police constable Adam Rhodes and his partner Catherine were called out to a 999 call at an old warehouse, Adam suspected it was a hoax and briefly left Catherine alone to go and check it out. Whilst away from the car, he heard a gun shot and returned to find that Catherine had been murdered. Adam blamed himself for what had happened and quit the police to go travelling, settling in Australia where, whilst working as a builder, he met Pepper Steiger. His relationship with Pepper finally forced Adam to face up to his demons, as he applied to the Australian police in order to get a Visa and stay in the country.
