As she attempted to move on from her wrongful imprisonment for the murder of Finn Kelly, Elly Conway decided to focus on her baby daughter, Aster, and found a mother and child group to attend. As the group met by Lassiters Lake, Elly learnt that it would just be her and two other members, Celia and Fiona, that day. As they chatted, Elly mentioned that she had stopped breastfeeding quite early on, at which point Celia admitted that both she and Fiona had read 'The Devil You Know', a book written about Finn's reign of terror, and they knew that Elly had been in prison. Elly insisted that the situation was nothing like it was portrayed in the book, but shared some of her experiences with the two women, hopeful that they were sympathetic about everything she'd been through. Unfortunately, later that day, Elly received a text from Celia saying that the other mums didn't want a murderer in the group, so they wouldn't be asking Elly back.
