As the Parker family – brothers Steve and Ned, along with Steve’s wife Miranda and Ned’s ex-girlfriend Kirsten Gannon - descended on their old home town of Oakey for the high school reunion, they were met by old mates Scott Coombes and Larissa McKay. Scott and Larissa quickly jumped to the conclusion that Ned and Kirsten – who’d had a brief relationship in school resulting in the birth of Mickey – were back together, whilst also making city slicker Miranda feel uncomfortable with their country ways. Miranda soon proved herself by riding the mechanical bull, while Scott and Larissa crowning Ned and Kirsten as king and queen of the reunion backfired when Ned’s current girlfriend, Janae Timmins, arrived and, in a fit of jealousy, pushed Kirsten into the drinks table.
