When Evan Hancock mistakenly believed that his son, Leo, was a victim of bullying and that school principal Susan Kennedy was doing nothing about it, he spoke to the Erinsborough News about the problem. His interview resulted in an emergency meeting of the school council, chaired by Dave Daly and, despite the council’s attempts to oust Susan from her job, Dave voted along with Susan to keep the matter within the school and not involve the Education Department.
