Mira Dhaliwal 2021
Occupation: Health Inspector

After Kyle Canning accidentally poisoned Erinsborough's Best Dish competition judge, and local councillor, Jacinta Hay with some wild mushrooms, tram restaurant The 82 looked like it might be closed down when Kyle's cousin, police officer Levi Canning, reported it. Food inspector Mira Dhaliwal arrived, much to Kyle's surprise, and announced that the tram would have to be closed down whilst they conducted an investigation. With the investigation underway, Kyle was devastated, as he saw the closure of the tram as a failure, wanting to keep it going in memory of his late father, Gary. Worried for Kyle, and the effect it was all having on the Canning family, his girlfriend Roxy Willis decided to try and fix things, as she'd been the one who'd put the mushrooms in Jacinta's food. She arranged to meet with. Mira, taking the blame for what had happened and insisting that she'd be happy to take any punishment. Unfortunately, as she was talking, the button on her blouse came undone, leaving Mira believing that she was actually being propositioned. She warned a confused Roxy that she wouldn't accept bribes - or sexual favours - and promptly left. Realising the misunderstanding, Roxy was left convinced that the tram would now be closed down for good, so after emailing Mira a full explanation and apology, she made plans to leave town. Kyle's gran Sheila then convinced Roxy to stay and word later came through, much to everyone's relief, that the council had agreed that, on the condition of paying a $5000 fine, the tram could reopen.
