When Terese Willis was looking into the site of Erinsborough High as a potential location for her new retirement experience, Irini Rising, it caused tension on Ramsay Street, as the school’s principal, Jane Harris, was one of Terese’s closest friends. With it looking very likely that the school would be closing anyway, Terese pressed ahead with her plan, and her architect, James Douglas, told her that he had a contact at the Department of Education, and could give her a tour of the school one Saturday evening. As they walked around the school, discussing plans, they were spotted by Jane, who had been hosting a group of parents from Anson’s Corner High, seemingly having persuaded them to transfer their children. Unfortunately, Jane finally snapped and lost her temper, insulting Terese and tearing up her blueprints, leaving the parents very unimpressed.
