Farmer Jones 1998

When their daughter Libby apparently went missing during a horse-riding trip up at Carrington Bend, Susan and Karl Kennedy – who had been separated for some weeks – were forced to work together to head up there and help with the search. Unfortunately they found themselves lost and had to ask for help from local Farmer Jones. The farmer was of little use as they asked if he knew where there was a phone nearby, giving them directions to nearby places, before realising that none of them had working phones, then starting to reel off the roads they’d need to take to get to his house – where there was a phone – before Susan and Karl gave up and decided just to continue the way they were going until they hit a bigger town.
