The principal of Erinsborough Primary School, Colin Finch was shocked when one of his new pupils, Mickey Gannon, attacked another boy, Hayden Green, badly injuring his arm. Colin called in Mickey’s father, Ned Parker, and explained that Mickey was on his first, and final, warning, and if such an incident were to occur again, the boy would be expelled. A furious Ned tried to get through to Mickey, who said he wasn’t sorry for what he’d done and was just standing up for himself, and Ned’s friend Janae Timmins was forced to admit that she’d given a nervous Mickey the advice that he shouldn’t let any of the other kids walk all over him.
