After losing out on the title of Miss Erinsborough, Annalise Hartman was feeling depressed and wondered what was wrong with her. As she served a customer in the Coffee Shop, the woman commented that the colours Annalise was wearing didn’t suit her. Annalise was offended, and the woman apologised and introduced herself as Danica Franjic, a style colour consultant who helped people choose their wardrobes based on the hair and skin tone. Thinking that this had been her problem all along, Annalise made an appointment for later that day, during which Danica threw out 95% of her wardrobe. That evening, Annalise unveiled her new look to her stunned boyfriend, Mark Gottlieb. Announcing that she was becoming a poet, Annalise was dressed all in black, complete with glasses.
