During a friendly football game between some of the Erinsborough Hospital staff and their friends, nurse Aidan Foster was annoyed to spot Nate Fuller amongst those playing, those he refused to tell his boyfriend Chris what the problem was. As the game got underway, the tension between Nate and Aidan was clear, and Nate ended up tripped Aidan, who hurt his ankle. Later, Chris confronted Nate at the pub, and Nate explained that they'd simply never got along, as Aidan had been rude to him when he'd tried to give him some help on his first day. Familiar with Aidan's inability to accept help or to talk about his problems, it was the final straw for Chris and they broke up soon after.
