She made Pete’s life hell and had several affairs, although her husband discovered them. When Pete fell in love with pregnant Australian Isabelle Hoyland, he began being hounded by the press but he still wanted to stick with Alicia as he felt it important to be a role model to young fans. Later, Susan Kinski convinced Pete that it would be a better example to fans if he followed his heart rather than staying in an unhappy marriage, and he went on to go public about his relationship with Izzy.
