As Christmas approached, an open mic event was held at the recently-opened Piano Bar at Lassiters Hotel, with guests and locals performing their favourite Christmas carols. With barman Bradley Hawkings running the event, Remi Varga-Murphy performed The Twelve Days of Christmas, whilst Nicolette Stone also attended along with Yasmine Shields, a recent arrival from America who Nic had started dating. However, when Nic performed O Holy Night, Yaz quickly became overwhelmed and left, with Nic following her to her hotel room, where she admitted that she and her late brother had performed that song every year on Christmas Eve.
