When Bridget Parker found herself in a war of words with Justin Hunter, who felt that girls shouldn’t be allowed on his football team, it quickly built into a more serious feud. As Bridget went out joyriding with Declan Napier, they came across Justin, with his two older brothers, Wayne and Dale. It wasn’t long before they were drag racing, but when the Hunter brothers pulled up next to Declan’s car and started goading them, Bridget snapped and threw her drink through the open window at Wayne. Declan sped off, but the Hunter brothers followed, eventually tracking the pair down. Bridget and Declan ran off, but returned later to find Declan’s car had been vandalised with graffiti. Later on, the brothers turned up in Ramsay Street, where Justin challenged Declan to another race. This time, however, things took a more serious turn when the police caught up with the two cars, but followed the Hunters, as they were more interested in arresting Wayne and Dale, who had already caused trouble in the area.
