After winning the Gatsford Mentorship at Eden Hills Uni, a delighted Wendy Rodwell was left doubting herself when another student, Heidi Runnals, suggested that it had all been a PR stunt by the uni to prove their diversity. As she wondered whether she'd only received the mentorship because she was Asian, Wendy contemplated making a statement of her own and turning it down, and was undecided right up until Edith Jameson presented Wendy with her award in front of her family and fellow students. Ultimately, Wendy decided that she was going to put herself first and accept the mentorship and all of the opportunities that it could bring her.
