Wanting to persuade husband Kyle that they should move back to Erinsborough from Darwin, Roxy Canning decided that it would be easier to convince him if she had a job to go to. As she helped her Auntie Terese Willis at retirement complex Eirini Rising for a few weeks, Roxy spotted an opportunity. With Operations Manager Susan Kennedy on leave, caring for injured husband Karl in Italy, Roxy decided to try and take her job, making it look like she'd made mistakes with her orders and bookings before she left. After learning that Susan had booked a magician to perform at The Waterhole for the Eirini residents, she decided to change the booking. As Vera Punt and various other residents gathered, Terese was shocked to realise that Magnus Johnson, the act that had been booked, was actually a 'puppetry of the penis' performer. As Roxy smiled to herself, and Terese desperately tried to guess the shapes that Magnus was making, Vera found herself having a wonderful time.
