Following a brawl at Warrinor Prison, inmates Felix Rodwell and Wade Fernsby ended up sharing a hospital room. Having managed to get a burner phone smuggled in, Wade was making plans to get revenge on Haz Devkar, the man he blamed for his imprisonment, as he married Mackenzie Hargreaves and they moved to Paris. After overhearing this conversation, Felix reported back to his brother, police sergeant Andrew, who was unable to get Wade to admit to anything, but decided to put a subtle police presence at the wedding to be on the safe side. Meanwhile, after getting early release, Felix decided to keep an eye on the wedding reception and soon spotted another former inmate, Bowser Jones, hanging around Haz's car. Felix went over, trying to claim that Wade had sent him to help, but Bowser saw straight through him and quickly left. This was spotted by Remi and Cara Varga-Murphy, who had their own history with Felix and demanded that he leave. When Felix later returned, most of the guests had already left, with Haz and Mackenzie safely departing in a hire car, so he tracked down Andrew and told him what he'd seen earlier. They went to the car park, only to find that Haz's car was gone, with a trail of brake fluid suggesting that the brake lines had been cut. As they tried to work out who'd taken the car, Andrew received word of a crash nearby, and he and Felix raced to the scene where they found Terese Willis unconscious behind the wheel. As she was informed that she'd need to be kept in for observation for a few days, Andrew reported that Bowser had been tracked down before he could do any further damage, and was facing up to fifteen years back behind bars for his actions.
