Following the death of Amanda Harris, dastardly Dr Darcy Tyler was eager to cover up the fact that he was with her when she died, and that he had stolen over $2 million dollars of shares from her before her untimely demise. Hopeful that he'd managed to keep everything under wraps, he attended the memorial, intrigued to learn from Amanda's grandson, Byron Stone, that her lawyer was coming to read her will to the family later that day. When Russell Jones then met with Amanda's daughter Jane, her children Byron and Nicolette, Byron's girlfriend Sadie Rodwell, as well as Aaron Brennan and Sam Young, they were all shocked to find out that Amanda had decided to have all of her assets put into a trust fund. The trust fund would help young people who wanted to enter the fashion and beauty industry, but couldn't afford it, and there was a further shock when Sadie was announced as the trustee. Furious that nothing had been left to their mother, other than a note saying that Amanda left 'her love' to the rest of the family - Nicolette and Byron asked Russell if there was anything they could do. Russell admitted that there could be some loopholes, and that they could possibly put some of the money into the trust fund and Jane could have the rest, but that Sadie would need to agree to that.
