With Nicolette Stone carrying Aaron Brennan and David Tanaka's baby, matters started to grow more complicated when Nicolette blurted out that the baby was hers and her girlfriend, Chloe's. Nicolette had only said it to annoy Chloe's ex-husband, Pierce and quickly took it back, but the comment left Aaron and David worried. When Nicolette then suggested that Chloe should join her, Aaron and David at one of the antenatal classes led by Dara Kay, it only made things more awkward. When solo mum-to-be Maya Velasco then arrived, she was introduced to Chloe, who felt bad that she had nobody with her, while Nicolette had three support people. As Dara then talked them all through some massage exercises, Nicolette suggested that David and Aaron could go and help Maya, while Chloe could stay and massage her. Aaron and David reluctantly agreed, whilst an increasingly uncomfortable Chloe decided to leave early, claiming that she had work to do, and the whole situation left Aaron and David worried that Nicolette was already trying to replace them in the baby's life.
