When 26 Ramsay Street went on the market, the Parker family – who had been renting the property from owner Janelle Timmins for several months – decided to bid for it, but also had to contend with real estate agent Gary Kelly showing other prospective owners around. One such prospective owner was lawyer Tim Collins, who had a quick look around and announced that it was perfect, leaving the Parkers stunned as he explained that if he won, he intended to knock the house down and build three townhouses on the land.
