When new salon owner Gino Esposito fired his manager Lyn Scully, she decided to set up a business from home. After narrowly avoiding being fined for illegally trading with a licence, she started giving out free haircuts to keep her clients until her permit came through. Whilst cutting the hair of one of her old customers, Kim Leeanda, Gino suddenly turned up at the house and admitted that he couldn’t manage without Lyn. He pleaded with her to come back, eventually offering her a pay rise and one day off each week.
