Following a siege at the Waterhole, and facing problems in his marriage, Sergeant Andrew Rodwell refused counselling and personal leave at work when offered by his colleague, Senior Sergeant Tony Thompson. Already raising concerns when he shouted at a junior colleague and suggested her was incompetent, Andrew then turned on a drug dealer who was being brought in, pushing him against a wall and telling him that he deserved to die for dealing to teenagers. Thompson quickly stepped in and separated them, later telling Andrew that this was the final straw and he was suspended.
