A schoolfriend of Declan Napier and Bridget Parker, Penny McGinty quickly started hanging around Declan when she saw him, shirtless, working on the sports car given to him by older brother Oliver as a 17th birthday present. However, when Bridget came along and jealously watched the two of them from afar, Declan went over to speak to her instead, and a bored Penny wandered off on her own.
