When Erinsborough High principal Susan Kennedy brought in her daughter Libby as her substitute vice principal for a few weeks, Susan then fell ill before Libby could start the job. Libby was forced to fill in as principal instead, and soon found herself bombarded with problems by students and teachers, including David McGuire, who claimed that he needed to know when his new ergonomic chair would be arriving. Libby did her best to fob him off, and eventually managed to ask the other teachers, who said that David had no genuine medical reason for getting an ergonomic chair - he just wanted one. When David then started hassling her again, she told him that he wouldn't be getting a new chair whilst she was in charge of the school.
