When Zeke Kinski returned to Erinsborough, his secretive behaviour - along with a romantic email to someone named Vic - led his step-parents Susan and Karl to think that he was in a relationship with a man, and was struggling to break the news that he was gay. When they also spotted him chatting to a man named Tim, who he claimed was an old school friend, they decided to talk to Zeke and get him to open up to them. They were surprised to learn that Vic was actually a woman, and that Tim had been a celebrant who was going to marry them, but had to cancel at the last minute.
