When Marco Silvani decided to leave Erinsborough, and took a job on a winery in Western Australia, he couldn’t stop thinking about ex-girlfriend Carmella Cammeniti, who had rejected him following the birth of her baby, Chloe, and felt that she needed to concentrate on her daughter for a while. As he waited to board his flight, Marco watched a young mum, Kellie Mills, softly rocking her baby daughter, Gabby, to sleep, which only made his feelings for Carmella stronger. Hopeful that she might turn up to stop him, Marco was the last to board the flight, only for Carmella’s sister Rosetta to turn up at the last moment and try to convince him to stay.
