The younger half-sister of Krista Sinclair on their mother's side, Fallon Morell had last seen Krista a few years earlier when she'd been travelling in Europe with her best friend, Sebastian Metcalfe. While Krista eventually moved on from the party lifestyle and got herself clean, starting a new life in Erinsborough and becoming engaged to Leo Tanaka, Sebastian struggled to make changes. He returned to Greece, where Fallon lived, and the pair ended up in a six-month relationship but when Fallon proposed to him, he didn't answer and simply upped and left. Seb then returned to Australia, ultimately finding his way back into Krista's life and, as she helped him to get clean, he began to realise that he had always seen her as more than a friend. He attempted to come between her and Leo, with Krista completely oblivious, having never seen him as more than her best friend. When this seemed to be failing, he kissed Krista, which happened to be witnessed by Fallon, who had arrived in town looking for him.

Fallon later went to Krista's apartment, not mentioning what she'd seen earlier, and the sisters started to catch up. Having found out about Seb's true feelings, Krista asked him to leave, buying him a flight back to Sydney, whilst Fallon claimed to remember meeting him once before years ago in Athens, but failed to mention her relationship with him the year before. As the sisters caught up, Fallon apologised for her lack of contact in recent years, mentioning that she'd seen on social media that Krista and Leo were engaged. Meanwhile, after learning that Fallon was in town, Seb sent her a message, asking to meet up before he left Erinsborough. Hoping for answers about his disappearing act, Fallon met with Seb, who admitted that he'd come to realise that Krista had always been the sister he'd been more interested in. He told Fallon that he was sure that Krista felt the same way and it was only a matter of time before she realised it - and that she would want to keep her options open, so she probably wouldn't tell Leo about the kiss.

Having heard Seb's side of the story, Fallon was left more confused than ever, and she ended up confiding in another newcomer to Erinsborough, Taye Obasi, who saw her sitting alone, looking upset. Taye advised her to keep Seb and Krista's kiss a secret for the time being, as it might be useful ammunition further down the line. Already resentful about the very different upbringings that she and Krista had experienced, with Krista spending most of her life coasting along on her dad's wealth, Fallon grew more upset as she got to know Leo, finding out that he had a child and was a nice guy who didn't deserve to be lied to. After overhearing Krista and Leo talking about Seb and deciding to put the whole thing behind them, with no mention from Krista of the kiss, Fallon wondered if her half-sister was simply a terrible person.

Still unsure what to do, Fallon was chatting to Taye again when she came up with a plan - with no job and little money, and needing to find a way to get closer to Krista and Leo, she offered to be their wedding planner. Though she had no intention of sabotaging the wedding, she saw it as a perfect opportunity to work out if Krista was deceiving Leo and would rather be with Seb. However, alone at the apartment that night, Fallon appeared to still be very hung up on Seb and the wedding she'd missed out on, as she held up a dress, looked in the mirror and imagined herself wearing it. With Leo looking for help at a wedding that was being held at his vineyard, Yorokobi, the next day, Fallon jumped at the chance to pitch in, proving very helpful when the restaurant doors were left open and some birds got in. Having helped to clean up and to make the wedding a success, Fallon took the opportunity to chat to Leo at the end of the day, realising that they had a lot in common, neither having grown up around money. As she got to know him more, and as he was still clearly oblivious about why Seb had left town, Fallon grew increasingly concerned that her half-sister was going to badly hurt Leo.

When Krista then received a letter from Seb, she refused to talk to Fallon about it, only intriguing her more, particularly as she saw how upset Krista was. Krista insisted that it was just part of Seb's twelve steps in rehab and it was a bit confronting, but Fallon decided to look for herself, only to be caught reading the letter by Krista. Initially furious with her sister, Krista calmed down as Fallon explained that she wasn't comfortable with lying to Leo and needed to know the full story. Having only seen a few lines of the letter, Fallon asked for the truth and Krista told her about how Seb has confessed his love and then kissed her. She explained that she needed to have a deep conversation with Leo and, believing her sister was going to confess her feelings for Seb to her fiancé, Fallon was pleased that the truth finally looked like it was going to come out. However, when Leo brought his daughter Abigail along to their date, Krista was unable to talk to him properly. When Leo then arrived at the vineyard later, Fallon realised that he didn't know and decided to tell him about the letter and the kiss, claiming that she thought Krista had already told him.

A furious Leo then confronted Krista, who admitted that it was a lot more complicated than that, explaining that Seb had said something to her that had concerned her - that Leo was too controlling. She admitted that it had made her think and she wondered if Leo needed to control her due to her addictions, and he apologised if he'd made her feel that way, but insisted that it wasn't conscious and that he was still worried that they seemed to spend so much time keeping things from each other. Fallon, meanwhile, apologised to Krista for slipping up and was surprised when Krista insisted that she didn't have feelings for Seb and that Leo was the only one she wanted. Realising that she'd been wrong, Fallon was still left worried that Krista and Leo were too dysfunctional to marry, particularly with a child involved, and disappointed when she found out that they'd patched up their problems and the wedding was back on.

As Fallon became more and more concerned about Leo's feelings, Taye noticed the way she was looking at her future brother-in-law, and realised that she was developing feelings for him. Things grew more complicated when Krista then borrowed a dress from Fallon's wardrobe without asking, which ended up covered in wine after an accident at the vineyard. When Fallon saw what her sister was wearing, she was horrified and demanded that Krista take it off. Fallon then explained her emotional outburst to Leo, admitting that she'd been engaged back in Mykonos and that was her wedding dress, though she still failed to mention that the man she'd hoped to marry was Seb. Leo's sympathetic reaction only made her like him more, but she was in for a nasty shock when Taye blackmailed her into asking Krista for a loan of $10,000, not wanting to admit to his new boss that he'd messed up a booking for a singer at the piano bar. Fallon went along with it, desperate to keep her own secret, and it looked like it might also be the end of her friendship with Taye. However, realising that she had nobody else to talk to, she accepted his apology for what he'd done and admitted to him that she was struggling to contain her resentment toward Krista, feeling that she was a spoilt rich girl who always caused chaos but got what she wanted in the end.

When Seb then returned to Melbourne, Fallon arranged to meet up with him. He quickly realised that she was falling for Leo, pointing out to her that, as with him, she always seemed to want to take whatever Krista had. When Fallon then met with Seb again, she found him drinking in a bar in the city, realising that he'd never actually been sober and had barely spent any time in rehab. She told him to pull himself together, suggesting that she might have a plan that would get them both want they wanted - she could have Leo for herself, while Seb could finally be with Krista.

After suggesting that Leo should read Seb's letter, Fallon was pleased when Leo listened to her, creating problems between him and Krista. Fallon then carefully made sure that Krista saw that she was leaning on Leo more and more as a shoulder to cry on, then she brought Seb back to Erinsborough. After offering to get in touch with Seb so that a sweater he'd left behind could be returned to him, Fallon arranged for Seb to turn up looking the picture of health. Krista believed that he was a changed man and was happy to see him, but Fallon then continued to manipulate the situation, texting Leo and telling him to come down to the complex for a chat. Just as Krista left, Leo arrived and Seb immediately started to wind him up, causing a fight to break out and leaving Leo looking bad as Krista rushed back to help her friend.

Fallon then spoke to Leo and Krista individually, making them both feel like the other one didn't understand them, and leaving Leo shocked as she suggested that maybe the wedding shouldn't be going ahead. With Fallon making sure that Krista saw her and Leo together later that day, Seb continued the plotting by suggesting that maybe things between Leo and Fallon went beyond friendship. He continued to stir the pot by pointing out that maybe Leo still hadn't come to terms with Krista's past as an addict and he viewed Seb as a constant reminder of that. Fallon then stuck the knife in when she returned to the apartment and lied to Krista that she and Leo had just slept together, causing an increasingly vulnerable Krista to consider drinking, then decide to get her revenge on Leo by sleeping with Seb.

After Taye found out what Fallon had done, he called her a terrible person, pointing out that her actions were purely selfish and she'd destroyed Krista's life because of her own jealousy. He told her that she had to find a way to fix things and, having come to her senses, Fallon wondered if it was already too late to sort out the damage she'd caused. When she went to see Krista the next morning, she confessed everything, admitting that she'd been jealous of Krista and had lied about sleeping with Leo. But Krista and Seb had already slept together and, although Fallon insisted that Krista could forget about that and marry Leo anyway, neither Krista nor Seb were so sure. Believing that he and Krista finally had a future as a couple, Seb was upset when Krista decided to go ahead with the wedding, allowing Fallon to be her bridesmaid to avoid people asking questions. After the ceremony was complete, Fallon was shocked to see Seb nearby, but, with Taye's help, managed to get rid of him before he said anything. As Krista then prepared to leave for her honeymoon with Leo, she told Fallon to be gone when they got back.

A couple of days later, as Fallon made plans to go and visit her dad, she and Taye were shocked to see Seb in the Waterhole. As she tried to persuade him to leave, insisting that they'd put Leo and Krista through enough, Seb told her that he was staying and wasn't prepared to give up on Krista yet.
