When When Danny Ramsay was almost crushed to death whilst changing a tyre under a car, his brother Shane showed incredible strength by lifting it off him, particularly as, only weeks earlier, he'd been seriously injured in a car accident. Their father, Max, decided to invite a newspaper reporter, Frank Morgan, around to tell him the story, and started reeling off a list of all of Shane's achievements as a diver, before his accident. Though Max excitedly told Frank about his son's plans to resume his diving career and make it to the Olympics, it was only later that he found out that Shane had been to see the doctor and had been told that he'd never be able to dive again, and had only gone along with the meeting with the reporter because he didn't want to be a disappointment.
