Believing that the mysterious Phil Andrews held the key to the whereabouts of missing Zeke Kinski, journalist Elle Robinson and her on-off boyfriend, photographer Lucas Fitzgerald, headed to the Andrews orchard, hoping to convince someone to tell them where Phil lived. Met by a wall of silence, Lucas came up with a plan and approached one of the workers, Joe Mullin, explaining that Phil had helped his wife, Elle, tow her car out of a ditch the previous week, and they had a slab of beers in the car to give him. Though Elle was uncomfortable pretending to be Lucas' wife, the plan worked and they got Phil's address.
