When Zac Willis moved from Darwin to Erinsborough, in order to take on the job of Assistant Manager at Lassiters Hotel, it seemed that he had left very suddenly and didn't want people to know where he'd gone. After receiving messages on a second phone, asking him where he'd gone, he threw the phone in the lake, and was then reluctant to have his photo put up on the hotel website, eventually giving boss Krista an old picture that he claimed had good lighting. However, it looked like Zac couldn't outrun his past when a guest named Joel Pit checked into the hotel and approached the reception desk. After making a comment about the hotel not having a tennis court, he then referred to Zac as 'Coach' and, having taken the hint, Zac offered him a 75% discount at the hotel spa for his silence.
