When Bailey Turner found himself the talk of Erinsborough High after making a fool of himself during a drunken fight with Jayden Warley, he was surprised when classmate Karina approached him, offering a sympathetic ear if ever he needed it. Pleased to have someone to talk to, after his recent behaviour had cost him all of his friends, Bailey met up with Karina, and she told him that most of the girls hated Jayden and his mates, and their childish behaviour. She then told him that she and the girls were having a get together later and asked him along - but Bailey soon realised the real reason for her sudden interest in him, when she suggested that he should bring along any of the home brew that was still left over from his previous party. He decided to hang out with her and her friends anyway, continuing to drink until he went too far and stole $100 from the till at Harold's Store, leading to his secret drinking finally being revealed to his parents.
