After being granted an interview with Claudia Scanlon, the produce buyer for an upmarket group of restaurants in Melbourne, Carmella Cammeniti realised that it could be the huge boost that her fruit and veg supply business, Celestial Fruits, needed. However, the meeting went badly, with Claudia unimpressed with Carmella’s plans, despite her offering a 15% discount on Claudia’s current supplier. As Carmella told her business partner, Marco Silvani, about it, he asked if he could give it a shot, and arranged another meeting with Claudia. He quickly started flirting with her, charming her into doing a deal with Celestial Fruits, with the added advantage of making Carmella extremely jealous as she watched them.
