Serendipity [Sezzy] 2003

When Stuart Parker, Boyd Hoyland and Lori Lee found a horse in the middle of Ramsay Street, country boy Stu immediately approached the animal. He then contacted a local animal shelter and looked after the animal whilst waiting for someone to collect it. The horse, however, got a nasty fright when the Kennedys’ new alarm suddenly went off, and Stu and Boyd gave chase as he bolted out of the street. After bringing the horse back to Ramsay Street, Stu tied him up in the garden and contacted the animal shelter again, who told him that nobody would be able to collect it that day. The following morning, Stu was alarmed to see that the horse had disappeared yet again, and tracked him down to the park, where his trainer, Kat Riley, had also found him. Kat was initially annoyed with Stuart for not trying harder to track down the horse’s owner, but as she realised how good he was with animals, she softened towards him. The pair went out for a drink, where Kat explained that Serendipity was one of the oldest horses at the stables and was notorious for opening the latch on his horse-box and escaping. And, despite the rocky start, Stu and Kat went on to have a brief relationship.
