Whilst arranging a kids' talent quest at the community centre, Georgia Brooks accidentally found herself recruiting bickering neighbours Sheila Canning and Lou Carpenter to help out as judges. When Lou bluntly told one young performer, Mikey Simmons, that he was a terrible singer and should focus on the dancing, an argument broke out between the judges as Sheila attempted to be more diplomatic. As young Mikey left the stage, Georgia warned Lou and Sheila to be nice, but when the next young singer, Holly Hoyland ran off before she could sing a note, Georgia assumed that Lou and Sheila's bickering had put her off, and so she fired the pair of them.
