During a uni information day at Erinsborough High, Bridget Parker spoke to medical school representative Vijay Singh about her plans to pursue a career as a doctor. Vijay told Bridget that, to train as a doctor, she would need to be completely committed and everything else in her life would have to come second. Bridget, who had just discovered that she was pregnant, then asked him about other 'distractions' that she couldn't do anything about, but, when Vijay told her that it was impossible enough without distractions, she lied that she didn't have any and was just asking hypothetically.
