When a war broke out at school between students Amber Turner and Cassie Nicholls, following a typo on Twitter made by Amber, which had offended Cassie, teacher Kate Ramsay put both girls on yard duty, picking up litter. She ended up inadvertently making the situation worse when she gave each girl a sun hat - red for Cassie and blue for Amber - with most of the other year 11 girls taking sides and wearing a red or blue ribbon as support. When she started receiving nasty remarks from some of the girls, including Emma Stokes and Lara Smith, Amber quickly realised that nobody was wearing a blue ribbon.
