As she tried to stop her grandson, Kyle, from dating Roxy Willis, Sheila Canning decided to set him up on a date with a woman she'd found on an app. The woman, Jamie Spiteri, was the spitting image of Kyle's ex, Amy Williams, and as she arrived for her date, Jamie was unaware that she'd actually been set up by Sheila, masquerading as Kyle and when the man himself arrived, he had no idea what was going on. Sheila had summoned him to the Waterhole, claiming that there was an emergency, before Jamie recognised him from his photos and called him over. After Sheila confessed to creating a dating profile for him, pointing out that he needed options other than Roxy, Kyle agreed to have a drink with Jamie. As he got to know her, Kyle realised that she was a complete clone of Amy, with a similar name and job, and even a similarly-named son to Amy. Later, after the date had come to an end, Kyle berated his gran for her actions and said that he now had to text Jamie and tell her that he wasn't interested.
