Springsteen 2007

When unemployed Karl Kennedy decided to make his home self-sufficient, he bought himself a rooster which he named Springsteen. As well as annoying his family with his constant nagging about using organic produce, turning off lights and not leaving the taps running, Karl then managed to alienate the entire street when Springsteen woke everyone up each morning with his crowing. To try and calm the animal, Karl made him a mood room, much to everyone’s amusement, but Karl’s wife Susan was desperate to get rid of Springsteen and attempted to send him off with her stepdaughter, Katya, when she moved out. Karl quickly rumbled their attempts to smuggle the bird off to a sanctuary, but later had little choice but to give him up when he was found to be the cause of a lice infestation in the house.
