With Terese Willis planning to open her new retirement home, Eirini Rising, she decided to begin an advertising campaign to attempt to stop some of the negativity around the project. Her plan was to use Dr Karl Kennedy, who she was employing as the home's doctor and wellness expert, in ads on billboards around the area. With Karl's vanity hitting an all-time high, he arrived for the shoot with photographer Selby wearing shapewear to try and make himself look slimmer. As Selby became increasingly irritated with Karl's suggestions and the weird faces he was pulling, Karl took Terese to one side and explained what he was wearing. When Terese told him that his waist wasn't going to be visible in the photos, a relieved Karl rushed upstairs to remove the shapewear, and the photoshoot was completed without further issue.
